Well, there is a RIGHT to choice of association in this country....although the queer-pandering liberal socialist pols just do it for votes.

During the assault, the teen's 49-year-old father yelled, cursed, swung a baseball bat, prayed and tried to cast the demon of homosexuality out of him, according to the teen's version of events to Deputy S.C. Weymouth, the incident report states.
What a nutjob. The kid was right to file charges.

Would the father assault the teenager for screwing a married woman?

Jesus Christ would take some whips to money changers in the Temple. Overturning their tables and whipping them something GOOD.
But I seriously doubt He would take a baseball bat to an errant, off-course young gay kid.
Somebody needs a lot of prayer and Christian witnessing, not black-eye pummeling.
If true, this father seems way out of line IMHO.

He waited too late. "Raise up your child in the way he should go, and he will not depart from it." "Spare the rod, spoil the child".
Can't ignore them until they are teens. Gotta set the path early.
My judgement? Daddy's fault.

From a pragmatic standpoint, do you want someone (family or not) who has just returned from the foo-foo festival using your facilities?
Before you dismiss this as nonsense, please state your experience with fomites & decon.

If hitting him or using a baseball bat would work, I’d think that West Hollywood would look like Yankee Stadium by the weekend.

Ambivalent.
Some teen kids need an ass whipping. I brought a few on myself.
I would hate to have a homosexual son...God forbid.
The bat was excessive. Very few cakers can fight anyhow.

The dad sounds like a redneck rage-aholic who's resorted to extreme violence in the past. Something tells me he reacts to most provocation like this, not just homosexuality.
But, yes, I'd like to hear the other side too.

Son is 18 years old.
Father should just ask the young man to move out.
Not beat the young adult with a ball bat.
At 18 the guy is of age and can fend for himself. He’s big enough to make big boy decisions about life, he’s big enough to deal with the consequences.

1. [cue the Ramones]
2. Friendly suggestion: Maybe they both need an exorcism.
3. If you need a baseball bat to discipline your son, you’ve probably spared the rod too long.
