To think of the nasty things that were said about the Snowman on FR during the immigration attacks. There are a number of FReepers who should be ashamed of themselves. The man was an icon of decency.

Indeed Bray it was refreshing that no one said anything nasty on the thread yesterday I must admit I held my breath for a while in case they did but fortunately decency came through.

Years and years ago on this thread, when Tony was the moderator on FNS, some people here didn’t like him at all. The called him the “Giggler”. They thought he didn’t question liberals hard enough and laughed too much with them.

They were happy to see Tony go. However, when Chris Wallace came on to replace Tony, and they saw Chris doing the same, well, you would have thought Ole Tony was the greatest thing since sliced bread, and they then wished he was back and hoped Chris would be fired.

I think this is how those who now deride Pres Bush will act once Obama (God forbid!) becomes president.
