“My heart is broken, too. I lost my (far too young) dad to cancer just over a year ago, and this hits really close to home. My dad was similar to Tony in many ways...Christian, loving, intelligent, friendly, encouraging, and a staunch conservative.”

I could have typed the exact post but replaced “dad” with “mom.” I was with her when she died and a day doesn’t go by I don’t think of her, or my dad who died in 2002. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Ditto.

My father left a huge legacy behind, and in fact, had a court building named after him on Friday. I could not be prouder(but still miss the heck out of him).

I am sorry for your loss, too.
