Indeed as a man and IMHO as a broadcaster Russert was not fit to tie Tony Snow’s boot laces.
Your post has bought tears to my eyes
Those scenes of Tony’s last walk down the WH driveway as everyone clapped and cheered for him made me cry. So uplifting and deeply sad at the same time.
Bill Kristol is on
He was indeed the best.
sorry .. I ended up watching a couple=of additional tony You Tubes ... including the one in which David Gregory becomes irate over Tony calling him partisan, like that’s a big shock. And Gregory becomes terribly upset! Like he actually believes that he’s not!
Thank you for your blessing for our daughter. She will be back in the states when her deployment in the sandpit is over in Sept.
I will pray for your kids and I thank you for their service. You must be so proud. Keep fighting the good fight--we are all holding you up in our prayers.
Hugs and prayers to you especially today.
Thank you, I am listening now.
I echo your post
Brett Baier has a lot of the same qualities that Tony had. He is a kind, gentle man also...and seems to be genuinely a nice person.
I am sure that Tony took him under his wing, and taught him a lot.
Excellent post, Wolfstar. You said what many of us have been thinking for quite some time now, but said it best. Thank you so much!
Rest In Peace Tony, All of us at FR will miss you!! Tony, you don’t know what you meant to us (my family), but I do have to say prayers to your family!!
Amen Cubbie

My SIL is a lovely man with great charm, too..He is just the one to go up to Tony and say” If you are not Tony Snow you could be his twin..and then have a nice chat as they waited for different flights. I was thrilled just hearing him relate his meeting.
Tony was a gift. Yes, he stole our hearts..I pray God’s comfort for the family’s great loss..
I am catching the Fox tributes to Tony and am muting the rest..It’s Tony Snow time of rememberance and day of gratitude for his life for me.
Now I am listening to the first part of the Roger Ailes interview

Seeing how Tony handled the smug infants in the press corps will always be among the most cherished moments of the last GWB term. I’m glad some of them are saved for posterity!
If anyone knows of archived radio shows, please post them here!
I guess God wanted to start a balanced news program in heaven and he needed two anchors.
Wolfie, I really loved his music, too.
Thanks for that tape ... beautiful.
Thank you Saveliberty for sustaining the Thread and picking up the Thread during Bahbah’s absence. [And for your earlier e-mail alert, too.]
Tony made character and kindness seem routine. I am afraid that with Tony's passing, we will be reminded of how rare those virtues really are.
