Fox News is announcing that Tony Snow has died.
Heartbreaking news.
WOOF!
You’re right! and had my brains not been out on her morning walk she would have reminded me of that...
The President's statement made me cry again.
Hey Snowman. Keep your ears on buddy. We'll meet up at the Heaven's chapter of FR. 10/4 Good Buddy.
I just turned on Fox, and heard this. (blurry monitor)
Well, Tony has achieved the impossible. Talking about his life has made the weekend F&F crew possible to listen to.
I checked all the web pages of the news; CNN, FNC, MSNBC, and ABC all have Tony’s death headlined. CBS has it burried as a one-liner on their web page, interesting.
Wonder if Cardinal McKerrick will be the celebrant at his funeral mass?
Woof! Woof! Woof!
May the Lords’ grace be with you and your family during this time of sadness. You were a great man.
It is rare that I get affected by the death of someone I do know personally, and I am sitting here crying. What a warm and optimistic man, and such an inspiration. I think back to the many times I enjoyed hearing him on the radio subbing for Rush or on his own show. Wow, I will miss him.
I know that tony would want us to send donations to some charity, but I want to send flowers. Wonder if they can make arrangements in the form of snowflakes???

Hi defconw...
I am rearranging my home office and entertainment center, so I only have TV...I can’t record anything. I hope that someone is able to roll tape, or that FOX will mention some type of retrospective, so we’ll be able to record it.
What a wonderful piece from Brit Hume, that just ended a few minutes ago.
You know, I was just thinking...I saw Laura Ingraham on BOR last night...I guess that’s what it was...I wonder how she is reacting to the news this morning, especially given her own recent battle with cancer. She’s had him on his show quite a few times.
Monitoring - Brit Hume is filling in for the vacationing Chris Wallace on FNS tomorrow, and Chris is talking with the producers to see if they can have that as a tribute show. Feel free to PING whomever you want - I can’t do it right now. I have an appointment out here on the left coast, and I’m at the point between total exhaustion and about ready to lose it because of Tony’s passing.
Sorry to ramble - gotta go for now.
Woof!
Actually, I was thinking the same thing. The trio of neophytes on Sat. F&F handled the phone interview with Pres. and Barbara Bush very well. They may have more on the ball than they usually demonstrate.
Tony Snow was such a good, honest, God-fearing man- He was dedicated to his family and to his work and will be missed a lot. Prayers for his family and friends.
