Newsweek turned heads with a poll two weeks ago touting a massive 15-point lead for Obama. Their newest survey has heads turning in the other direction, showing Obama's lead dwindling to just 3 points over McCain:
Obama 44 (-7) McCain 41 (+5) Undecided 15 (+2)
In the Newsweek poll, Obama's support among Republicans and Democrats was basically unchanged, but his support among Independents dropped 14 points, to 34% from 48% two weeks ago.
McCain increased his support among Republicans by five points (to 83% from 78%) and among Independents by five points (to 41% from 36%).

I don’t believe this one either. If the election was held Tuesday McCain probably wins by 8 to 11 points.
I am assuming you are being sarcastic, but I don’t think that is outside the realm of probability. He is starting to realize that all those religion and gun-clinging middle Americans make up a huge part of the electorate and that he needs them to win.
Alas, me too. He would be POUNCING back at every opportunity, being the outsider and railing against Washington insiders... spending his money, and crafting articulate ideas on the economy, immigration, and conservative values
Excellent
“Anyone who doesnt know that a Presidential candidate simply DOES NOT EVER sneer at the American people on the stump really IS an out-of-control SNOB. He is such a snob he has no idea what a snob he is.”
How about the comment he made about how embarrassing it is that in Europe they speak many languages and here we won’t even learn Spanish? I liked the response from one of the conservative talk radio shows that said something to the effect that talking about how great Europe is in reference to how embarrassed you are of your own country, isn’t a good position to be in when running for the President of your country........LOL.
Besides, tell it to the new immigrant from a country like Japan who has to learn both English and Spanish to get by in America when the guy next to him from Mexico doesn’t have to learn one new language. What about the basic concept of fairness? I worked with a nurse from Japan in Texas and one day he said to me “do you know what it’s like to come here and have to learn two languages to get by, when spanish speakers I work next too don’t have to learn even one? We cater to one group at the expense of all the others.
Thanks for your kind words. I had a lot of fun making the movie, and Larry is a great guy.
