Female suicide bomber attack kills eight, wounds 15
Multi-National Division – North PAO
DIYALA, Iraq – A female wearing a suicide vest-borne improvised explosive device killed eight local civilians and injured 15 in Diyala Province on July 24.
“The enemy continues to try to push their agenda of intimidation and acts of brutality upon the local population,” said Maj. Peggy Kageleiry, spokesperson for Multi-National Division-North. “This attack is an attempt to negate the gains the Iraqi Security Forces have made in the city, and the progress that is happening throughout Iraq.”
