(kicking self for not saving the thread)... Anyone else remember the heat some of us took for defending the decision to delay an ambulance for a search at the Canadian border a several months ago?

Exactly, and illegals here in the US have been known to be transported in Ambulances, until ppl out in the east county, got to wondering why all the emergency vehicles so many times a day..and it was found they were full of illegals..

It was a fire truck enroute to save some unfortunate American’s property.

A couple of hundred years of co-operation and friendship out the door because of some tiny heathen threat. The border is still wide open between our nations for literally THOUSANDS of miles. How many problems come from the North?

There has been exactly ONE time a terrorist attempted infitration from Canada with immediate ill-will, and he was caught ( ref: Ahmed Ressam).

You’d rather let your neighbour’s home burn down than let firetrucks through to help, on the extremely remote chance that it *might* not be a legitimate firetruck? I pity your community.
