We’re raising a bunch of new voters who want to be citizens of the world - they have no respect for the liberty that the US has paid for in blood.

Obama's background makes him the perfect candidate for folks who don't care for America.

1. His father only lived in the US for a few years, so he could get some degrees. Then he chose to go back to Africa.
2. His mother chose to live on the other side of the world from America and, according to Obama's memoirs, didn't even want to be associated with Americans

Oh... you actually believed Bush was being sincere when he said he saw goodness in Putin’s soul?

Personally, I couldn’t stop thinking of Michael Corleone laying the “great man” stuff on Hyman Roth in II.

But I suppose that aspect of the whole thing eluded you...

People can be pretty stupid alright, but in this case, I guess the poll is just reflecting conservative unhappiness with McCain. When pollers ask Republicans, I bet many of them give negative responses to both men. Even though they know McCain is a lot better than Obama and they’re going to vote for him, they still don’t like or trust him, so they say “unfavorable.” I’m sure that is skewing these numbers. If they asked “Who do you think has a better character, McCain or Obama” I bet you’d see more people choosing McCain then.

"Gallup long ago lost all credibility for suspect polling techniques..."

You think that's bad, the internals from Newsweek's last poll should get someone fired:

896 Registered voters (plus or minus 4)
231 Republicans (plus or minus 8)

NEWSWEEK POLL:
DEMOGRAPHIC PROFILE

Republican 22 23
Democrat 36 38
Independent 37 35
Other/Don’t know 5 4

Consider this, by definition, nearly half of Americans have an IQ of less than 100. If you think about that fact, in these increasing complex times it explains a lot...

In the last week, I saw a young lass wearing an Indiana State University shirt with a certain four letter word followed by Bush except the F and B were altered

Sounds like she was advertising her wares.

You think that's bad, the internals from Newsweek's last poll should get someone fired:

As we know, when the Media goes into the tank for a Left-Wing Democrat, they take most of the pollsters in with them. Nevertheless, the news is not heartening. On the other hand, I heard a 20 something on Hannity's radio show (and an "African American" 20 something at that) do a double clutch when he found that the Messiah was opposed to drilling in the US and to nuclear power. Given half a chance, the American people will still vote their pocketbook, and most of the "folks", to borrow a word from BOR, still see the "economy" as the price of staple commodities, particularly a gallon of gas. The issue is, do McCain and the Republicans want to win, or do they (like many here at FR) think they know something that the rest of us don't know, and want to be out of office when the as yet unnamed catastrophe hits?

I recall female students wearing a “TRIM BUSH in 2004” shirts. This one ISU student had an ISU Democrats club something or other logo on the backside and the lettering and font was definitely a rip off of the actual campaigns signs. Copyright infringement? Is that a federal crime?

President Bush and the Republicans’ unpopularity is said to be mainly due to Iraq. The situation has changed there and improved because of the surge, which was criticized by the Dems (including Obama) and supported by McCain (who had been calling for more troops since 2003). Iraq is not big news because is in a better condition. McCain should campaign on national security and focus on Iraq. The Bush administration and the Republicans should also deal with Iraq, inform about Iraq. Keeping the current successful strategy in Iraq is at stake. Obama will travel to Iraq and could say that the successes justify his plan for more responsibility on the part of the Iraqi, that is, to withdraw the troops even though the Iraqi are not prepared to assume responsibilities. It could endanger the progress achieved: Iraq could become like Afghanistan before 9/11 and the US would have to intervene again. McCain and the Republicans should contrast both positions. Iraq shouldn't be a liability for McCain and the Republicans but an asset if people are informed about the progress, to whom the credit is due, what is at stake and who has the best plan. McCain's message should be that with the current strategy victory is achievable and that the troops will return with victory.

Good Mornng WarToad,
We can always expect to have a few infiltrators on the FR to suck up “Obuma’s spit.”

Without the aid of a tele-prompter, Obuma probably could not pronounce his own name. This election is a battle between those, who wish to see America prosper and those who wish to see her fall.

Obuma is nothing more than a Mugabe, chomping at the bits to turn America into a third world catastrophe.

McCain was not my choice, but he is far better than the “Stand with the muslims club POS Obuma.”

These jugdement polls must have been taken in the heart of Atlanta, Harlem, Philly, Trinity church, NBPP, NOI, Naacp, Glaad, Nambla, Actup, Acorn, Cair, Hamas, Hezbollah and AQ hqtrs.

Sane Patriotic Americans know what judgement consist of and Obuma has none worth mentioning.

The liberals will push the theology, if one does not vote for Obuma, then they are racist. I will vote for McCain rather then turn America into a Zimbawe, controlled by a mulatto Mugabe.

As It Stands,
NSNR

You said it. It is all in how you raise them. Because my three children born to Americans of Cuban descent (my husband and I) respect this country. They cherish it because I have taught them that they are blessed to live here. That this country took us (my husband and I) in back in the sixties and gave us and them all the opportunities in the world to be whatever they want to be.

My daughter, now 24, is married to a great professional man. She is a nurse and both great conservatives. My other two are a little younger but they are growing up conservatives and appreciate this country.

My husband and I have never let up. We are informed so that we can inform them of the crap the liberals in this country are. And how they will destroy this country if we let them.

So, once again, raise your children your way and don’t let the schools or “the village” raise them for you.

What? You are not enamored with Obuma, America's Mulatto Messiah?

I 'll take it one more step than you. I believe that Hillery's prediction might be right, and Obuma will soon join Bobby Kennedy.

1. Even if I thought that, I would not say it or put it in writing.
2. If it DID happen it would be a disaster. No matter who did it, we'd never hear the end of the conspiracy theories, there would be endless “investigations” (aka “witch hunts” and staffed entirely by Democrats and RINOs) and the commie-pinko race pimps would exploit it endlessly.
