Israeli Opposition leader, Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu sounded spitting mad Thursday at the Olmert government’s agreeing to a ceasefire with the Gaza-controlling Hamas terrorist organization.
The terrorists got a period of quiet in which to regroup and rearm in readiness for the next round of terrorist attacks, he said. In exchange, Israel “got nothing.”

Netanyahu wants to “bring Hamas down” in Gaza. This seems to imply that he advocates Israel’s retaking contol of Gaza, and reversing the disastrous Sharon government “disengagement” of 2005. Perhaps Netanyahu will get a chance to do just that as the next PM.
I thought that was Ehud Barak that got steamrolled by Clinton in 1999 and the resulting infitada or am I missing something?
Bibi is totally right on the crooked one, Olmert.
