PS... I do live in Caifornia. I decided it was time to see the relatives and better do it before the Obamanation arrives and it goes to $10 a gallon and we are all riding our bikes to work. My point being that Californians are being overtaxed by 50 cents a gallon... to pay for all those necessary 'programs' we have here.
And we did our part to support the American economy in the last month... believe me!

“ol gw....did he finally wake up? where has he been?”
Just what I’ve been wondering. It seems, after invading Iraq, he took a 4 year vacation.

“The Shale Oil is largely on Federal Land, the technology is now MORE than economical to run, its PROFITABLE, and it’s estimated to be THREE TIMES the size of the Saudi reserves. 3 TIMES!!!!!!!!!! WTF. Here is the kicker, the CONGRESS has BLOCKED the production of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ WHY!??!??!!!!! “
Leftists want to destroy America and the right doesn’t have the stones to stand up to them.

Isn’t that the truth! It took Bush 7.5 years and McCain about 25 to figure out that off shore drilling was a good idea.
What visionaries...

Bush and just about every Republican have been neutered by global interests thereby screwing the country that they are supposed to “love” and support. Pubes and Dems have joined together in an effort to ruin this country.
Screw the politicians!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don’t need to remind me to vote for anyone but Omama or McLame. John’s global warming stance makes my head explode. How stupid can he be?

IIRC, less than two years ago the break-even point for coal to gas was $45 USD/bbl. The problem comes with the permit procedures and carbon sequestration. The bureaucracy and the court system is why everything, exploration, drilling and/or refineries, supposedly takes ten years.

You must be a rocket scientist, because very few politicians can figure out your logic. Actually, politicians don’t want the US to be self sufficient.

FYI, the TOTAL combined local, state & federal gas tax in CA averages 63 cents per gallon which is about 30 cents higher than the cheapest state, Wyoming...ya gotta quit believing the CA haters BS! LOL

"If only we hasd been hearing the evidence ofsome real stones like this for the past 4 years instead of at the end of a lame duck when nobody in Congress cares."He would have had no support then, like he has none now from "real conservatives".
"Johnnie had best latch onto something like this very, very soon."
"Johnnie" already latched onto this, it's also front page news.

Johns global warming stance makes my head explode. How stupid can he be? The difference here is that McCain is flip-flopping on energy (drilling at least) and the only criticism is from Barry - this is a welcomed flip-flop. McCain may be subject to a flip-flop on the Glow-Bull Warming, Global Cooling, Climate Change Hoax. Again, it will be a welcomed flip-flop. In the case of Barry, is is beholden to the eco-whack-jobs and has no hope of changing his stance.
