McCain’s decisions and comments are an appeal to moderates. But, that is where his support has always been. If anyone can bring him to power, they can (just like they made him the GOP nominee).

McCain’s decisions and comments are an appeal to moderates. But, that is where his support has always been. So, you're implying independents and moderates aren't patriotic? Reagan appealed to both with patriotism and the promise of a return to greatness as well as conservative populism.
