I home roast using a Hot Top Drum Roaster. Maybe twice a week.

My Favorite is Colombian. The coffee's good, too.

Seriously, Colombian Huila has consistently delivered a "tropical fruit/pungent wood like" flavor that's better than any coffee I've ever tasted. I usually order about 20-25lbs at a time of various coffees, but I always get a several pounds of Huila.

$15 bucks for a cup of coffee? In a Civet's @ss...Oh, it comes out from there? No thanks...

I've been thinking about upgrading from my small hot air roaster to a drum roaster. How satisfied have you been with the Hot Top, and have you found anything you don't like about it?

(I'll sit here and sip on my cup of Ethiopian Idido Misty Valley, roasted just into the second crack, while you think about it.)
