I think Alec Baldwin should play Barak, when Michael Moore produces Obama's biography.

Alec Baldwin should play Barak....

A good match, both terribly anti-American, both nut cases that should be sent to Cuba, one way where their hatred for America would be appreciated...

I like the fact that he knew about the munitions company. It shows he did his homework and had a desire for his film to be historically accurate. It would appear that Spike did not do any homework and had a different desire when he made his comments.

Spike Lee is still alive?
Someone should tell him; his career died in 1989.

I was reading this earlier today and the first thing that went through my mind was the Spike Lee was complaining about “Letters from Iwo Jima” the Japanese perspective movie Eastwood made with “Flags of our Fathers” which I just saw a couple of weeks ago (very good movie)...
Sad thing is it took a few minutes to kick they were talking about “Flags” because I easily believed Lee would be upset it was all Japanese and Asian actors in the “Letters”...

I'm surprised this was in the Guardian, it is actually a good article. I especiialy liked:
Eastwood still likes to let his views be known, often forcefully. In 2005, he vowed he'd kill Michael Moore if the documentarian ever showed up at his house, the way he had doorstepped Charlton Heston in Bowling for Columbine. This March he was sacked from Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's California state parks commission for objecting to the building of a toll road through a national forest. But though he has been associated in the public mind with Republican viewpoints, he's something of an individualist. "I don't pay attention to either side," he claims. "I mean, I've always been a libertarian. Leave everybody alone. Let everybody else do what they want. Just stay out of everybody else's hair. So I believe in that value of smaller government. Give politicians power and all of a sudden they'll misuse it on ya."
I have a newly found admiration for Clint.

I always thought Dirty Harry was John Milius' creation.
Glad to know Clint had something to do with the film's message.

Spike Lee’s biases are on display in his movies, for all to see. Why does he feel it necessary to rag on Flags of Our Fathers?

Eastwood should appease them with a director’s cut where they manning a hot dog cart during the fight.
What a bunch of stupidity...

Spike Lee had admitted he disapproves of inter-racial couples and gives them dirty looks whenever he sees them.
What would we say about a white person with the same views????

Yeah, Alec Baldwin does tragic death scenes quite well.
No good will come from the emotions that Obama is unleashing in America,in both his opponents and in his supporters.
A tragedy is in the making.
