Look, I don’t think the GOP plans on too many conservative voters this time around. Maybe McCain will make up for dumping conservatives by gaining Hillary shrews and independents.

That seems to be his plan.

Maybe you should start a forum entitled Free Republican, rather than the Free Republic and then you, like McCain, won't have to worry about those pesky conservative principles at all.

JR won't mind - he knows exactly who and what McCain is. - so do we

By that logic, since I also won't be voting for Obama I am voting for the Republican candidate by default. So I guess that evens things out, huh?
