Dear Freepers: It is Time to Support John McCain
June 5 2008 | jveritas

Posted on 06/05/2008 6:25:12 PM PDT by jveritas

In this election we have very a clear choice to make.

A choice between Victory against Islamic Terrorism or surrender to our terrorist enemy.

A choice between free market capitalist economy or socialism.

A choice between constructionist judges or liberal judges who legislate from the bench.

A choice between Life for the unborn or abortion on demand going wild.

A choice between lower taxes or higher taxes.

A choice between small government or big government.

A choice between John McCain or Barack Obama.

Let us choose John McCain. A Patriot, a war hero, and would be an excellent President.

God Bless America and our brave troops.

I hear what you are saying but I just don’t know if I can vote for him. There comes a time when a person has to stand up and say no more. If not now...then when?

Support = Vote first and foremost. It will be also good to contribute money if you can and or campaign for Senator McCain.

You are aware McCain did not support Roberts or Alito. I guess we really need another Sandra Day...

Let’s see who his VP pick is first.

I do not concur with your description of him, but if he picks a conservative running mate, I might pretend I agree with you.

Every conservative who vows never to vote for Mccain is helping to ensure that a pro-terrorist Marxist who is demonstrably insane will be POTUS. Based on who he has associated with up until now, what in holy heck do you think his cabinet and administration will look like? Heaven help us, because we are on a super-highway to hell.

I will vote for him in the interests of our military and hope that I don’t get betrayed.

Well considering the fact that we know China is selling many of the weapons that are killing our soldiers, wouldn't it be be nice if McCain at least mentioned china?

Why not Cthulu?

Not going to do it; wouldn’t be prudent.

The Republican Party went to that well once too often. I’m not voting for another liberal just because he’s a Republican.

It would be a lot easier voting for him if you would take a break from attacking me and telling everyone who will listen that I’m what’s wrong with America.

A choice between free market capitalist economy or socialism.
A choice between lower taxes or higher taxes.
A choice between small government or big government.

Then why does McCain support cap and trade, which will inevitably accelerate the trend towards Socialism, higher taxes, and bigger government?

For 25 years McCain has been part of the problem. Now he is the solution? I don’t think so.

That is my answer too. I probably will not decide until I am standing in the voting booth in November.

As I have said in some other McCain posts...
I live in NH, so I can take comfort in voting 3rd party for president (Repub for US House and Senate and State House and Senate), because NH have finally turned to the dark side of Socialism/Communism.

McCain hasn't a chance in any of the New England states, or NY, NJ, etc.

McCain has turned his back on conservatives and will do so again.

Don't forget, he contemplated joining the Dems and entertained the idea of being Kerry's running mate. Is that your idea of a Republican candidate? It definitely is not mine.

McCain has wasted no energy on conservatives. That is just pathetic.

Now he is only going to be trying to get the votes from Democrats while losing real votes from the conservatives.

In the end, the Democrats will forgive Barry, even Hillary’s old shrews, and vote for Barry.
