Dear Freepers: It is Time to Support John McCain
June 5 2008 | jveritas

Posted on 06/05/2008 6:25:12 PM PDT by jveritas

In this election we have very a clear choice to make.

A choice between Victory against Islamic Terrorism or surrender to our terrorist enemy.

A choice between free market capitalist economy or socialism.

A choice between constructionist judges or liberal judges who legislate from the bench.

A choice between Life for the unborn or abortion on demand going wild.

A choice between lower taxes or higher taxes.

A choice between small government or big government.

A choice between John McCain or Barack Obama.

Let us choose John McCain. A Patriot, a war hero, and would be an excellent President.

God Bless America and our brave troops.

G-d Bless John Sidney McCain III.

Ignore the anti-Johnny clowns.

The “ threats of gloom” are quite real my friend. I think you better do a little more reading on Obama. Again , I see people here choosing WORSE over BAD. that’s pretty nuts in anyone’s book . Yea, Mc Cain is ALMOST as bad as Carter. Obama IS WORSE that Carter. So you’d stay home and let the WORSE man win ? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

McCain is not 100% conservative but he is for sure a conservative. It is not 100% or 0%. It is where is McCain on this scale? Where is Obama on this scale. McCain is 70% on the conservative scale, Obama 0 %.

“For the absolutists they want 100%.”

I have a lot of respect for your history so rather than call you a liar, I will simply call you wrong. We who hate that creep (with good reason) do not require a 100% conservative, we would however like a nominee that does not delight in @$$ raping the base as does Juanito McAmnesty.

Agreed, thank you Joseph! It’s great to see you back!

I can’t have any great hopes for a McCain presidency, but I do think he will be far better on the war and on judges than Obama could possibly be. I will vote for McCain without enthusiasm but definitely without doubt, since an Obama presidency would truly be frightening.

You’d have to convince me that McCain is better for that argument to work.

"I’ll be dammed if I participate in helping a Bolshevik get into power in the US."

"John Kerry is a close friend of mine. We have been friends for years," McCain said [] when pressed to squelch speculation about a Kerry-McCain ticket. "Obviously I would entertain it."

But there will be many who won’t even know what it means, sadly.

>> Support = Vote first and foremost. It will be also good to contribute money if you can and or campaign for Senator McCain.

At this point, a vote for John McCain is likely, but not assured; he’s the lesser of the two evils. Lately, with his embracing of Global Warmism and La Raza, the likelihood of a vote for him have been decreasing. If he chooses the faggot from Florida as his running “mate”, fuhgeddaboudit.

Contributing to either McCain or the RNC is highly unlikely. I can afford to (we gave W and the RNC significant amounts in 2004), but John McCain robbed me of my free speech rights and that doesn’t sit too well. The RNC has proven themselves to be totally irresponsible with contributions; I’ll contribute to down-ballot races but not a NICKEL to the RNC.

Campaign for him? You don’t want me to. I just can’t work up the necessary enthusiasm, and I am not going to lie to people. In discussions about JMC with family, friends, co-workers, I tell it like it is — he’s the least harmful of two crappy choices (like I’d rather have measles than AIDS), but there’s a LOT wrong with him.

It was within his power to have it different, but he has chosen his base of support (the middle, the enviro-left, Democrats) and now he must live with the consequences of that choice.

Both McCain and Obama are well under a 50% threshold where I might even consider casting a vote. The trouble is that those for McCain cannot pull something hopeful out of his words to hang onto that those that cannot vote for him cannot pull out a recent action that belies the words.

So , help OBAMA WIN THEN . That will show em !
I see people on here all but admit Obama is far worse and yet will help him get in by staying home and not voting at all. I’m still stunned that people on here will still pick WORSE over BAD $ I am speechless.
My rule of thumb usually is that if you didn’t vote then you need to shut up during the term of whoever won the election.

Vote Against the MSM...if McCain WINS, the MSM loses face, they lose their confidence, they lose their Jobs.

If you don’t vote, you’re an BHO supporter....

Nullify Michelle’s Vote for her Husband...1 for, 1 against.

I think it is possible that there might be more liberal laws passed under McCain than Obama. There are not many Republicans with balls enough to oppose McCain's liberal tendencies if he is president. If Obama wants some socialist health care or global warming bill, the Republicans are more likely to oppose him. Not so with McCain. I would rather lose a fight with Obama than not even have the fight with McCain.
