You'll enjoy this as a follow-up from the previous thread. The prosecutor started his closing arguments via a Power Point presentation--but he couldn't get his hyperlinks to work. Some days you should just stay in bed.

For Chessani, this means further evidence that there was no coverup. It would seem that way, but with the list of Marines for throwing under the bus dwindling rapidly, the pressure is really on now to "get somebody", and the cowardly scum would love to "get" one officer and one enlisted. In their desperation they will do anything it takes. Anything.
Fasten your seatbelt.

“Not guilty, but this Officer will never have a career in the Marines, which really sucks...”
Amen.
On the plus side, he will be free to travel abroad without worrying about some craptastic “international tribunal” of brain sick eurotards snatching him up and imprisoning him for the rest of his natural life as he waits for trial.

That was probably the biggest BS charge, fraudulently obtaining a discharge. Yeah, like he discharged himself........ If they had found him guilty of that then they should have had to prosecute a couple dozen people as accessories, including the head of USMC personnel.
Absolutely.

I also had the privilege of speaking with Lt Andrew Grayson. He and his family are celebrating, naturally, but their thoughts and prayers are with the Chessani and Wuterich families tonight as well. Finally Lt. Grayson can spend a night with his wife knowing they aren't going to take him away from her.
I hope they sleep in for a week, then restart their lives.
Praise The Lord for this verdict and Lt. Grayson's honorable service to his country.

>> It ALL sucks.
It does indeed. The media and politicians made a mockery of a tragic event. The political persecution of the Marines involved is disgraceful. Exploiting the loss of innocence is no less shameful.
May our prayers never end.

When Stone, McConnell, Tatum, Sharratt and now Lt Andrew Grayson look into the mirror tomorrow morning, they will know they fought the good fight. True to the Corps.... and more importantly, true to themselves. Duty, honor, truth...three words our politicians have forgotten. Three words these Marines lived by!.....
May God continue to watch over our brave Marines...Prayers were again answered. May the Grayson family start the healing process and make plans for the future. Lt Andrew...Semper Fi

OUTSTANDING! Congratulations to 1Lt. Andrew Grayson and his family.
A question, based on the following from the AP story:
The prosecutor, Lt. Col. Paul H. Atterbury, portrayed Grayson as a liar who wanted to avoid accountability and ordered the sergeant to delete photographs of the bodies.
Grayson is still in the Marines -- can he bring charges against Atterbury for "Conduct Unbecoming" and "Conduct Prejudicial" for his over-charges and extreme comments in the prosecution? I'm guessing not -- but it would be nice to try!
Thanks, Red and all for the updates and info. Outstanding!

If there was any justice, every POS political rodent involved in sending this guy to trial should be fired and lose their retirement. But nope, they’ll just say, “Oops, we didn’t get away with one this time,” and walk away. This time next week, it’ll be like it never happened (for them). Friggin’ eggheads.

But of course. They’ll write it up as the horrible awful military wrongly letting the guy off because the evidence wasn’t ironclad.

we know that Murtha is still an EX-Marine He's also an EX-human being.
Let's hope he reads these posts - and put down just what we think of this scum excuse for a human being. He's so low, he could walk under a snake's belly -
He's top on the list - if the heading of the list is
Your turn...

A failure to get a conviction with so much money and resources used by the prosecution will figure heavily on their next fitness report. The Corps does not look kindly on those that waste the Marine Corps Money.

I’d love to see him run for Murtha’s seat if he’s still around by the next election. It’d be a hell of a debate.
