I plan on getting a dozen CO2 tanks, the big one, and just tune the valves on.

Barbecue and afternoon of 4-wheeling (maybe cruising in my 4 MPG motorhome?) are now scheduled on my calendar.

I will be leaving WAAAY more than 2 incandescent bulbs on all day long.

I might even go jogging, so I can exhale a bunch more CO2

Burning charcoal is carbon-neutral. The trees from which the charcoal was manufactured already removed the CO2 from the atmosphere. Burning propane works, though, for anyone who wants to participate in such antics.

Energy conservation seen as national security issue

Jim Talent, R-Mo., is to frame energy as a national security issue. "Energy is not just an economic issue, but a national security issue" where the enemy has control over our energy supply, Talent told an energy symposium here in early August.

Put the onions - skin on - on the upper rack about halfway through your dead varmint's cooking time. Yeah, yeah, I know they say to leave the top on for the entire cooking cycle. Bullshit. I do it all the time. It only takes an extra 10 minutes or so to get the convection back up to a full head of steam. Maybe another 30 minutes until they're done, depending on their number and diameter. Onions, roasted and smoked, served on the side of whatever fauna gave it's life to satisfy the caveman in you. As soon as they're ripe enough, I plan on doing some whole, unpeeled, unseeded red bell peppers and Roma tomatoes out of my garden like that, too. Imagine the aroma, the taste, the texture, of a hand-picked, garden-fresh Roma tomato or a sweet red bell pepper that has just been roasted under high heat with a thick, sweet cloud of smoking hickory chips. Mmmmm-mmmm.......it does take a little trial and error with an Orion, due to the method of cooking, but it's worth the final product. And you lock in all the native nutrients that way, too. Screw the planet - you're eatin' good, and eatin' healthy. LOL

I scored a 268 on the Belch-o-meter.

I only got a 169, but I got an old tree in my yard that needs trimming, and instead of recycling my trash and newspapers, I plan on having a bonfire with the trash and the tree....

BTW, I have 3 gas powered mowers (I have 3 acres to mow, and it takes a while....)

Well, I either hope one of 'em has a seat and four forward gears, or you got a stout wife. We only have about a quarter of an acre here at The Lodge, but between the mowing, weed-whacking, edging, brush-hogging along the back fence, and whatnot, it seems like the longest two hours on earth if the temp's over 85. Once we do build new, we're gunning for 2-5 acres, part of which will either be bass pond, or at least have a good trout creek cutting through it.

Actually, 2 of them have seats, one 16 hp with 5 forward gears, the other is 15.5 hp hydrostatic. Both mow a 42 inch wide path. My BIG (46 inch cut, 12.5 hp) walk behind has 4 forward w/reverse (I usually mow in 3rd).

It's my fav, but if I'm feeling lazy, I'll use one of the others, usually whichever one the wife isn't on....

I spend $20/week now on gasoline just to mow my yard....
