Bill grilling McLellan tonite on his show, more parade from the traitor gallery.
Thanks for the heads up. I missed it, but will watch the rerun.
I hope he is half as tough on Mcclelland as he was on Hillary. “Would you care for another piece of pie?”
I don’t think he was nearly rough enough. I would have liked to see O’r make that snarky two-faced punk admit that he was a traitor, or that he had become an BamBam supporter. Instead he played the ‘you’re naive’ card. He isn’t naive, he is dishonest, ungrateful, and about as loyal as Judas.
Pffft.
We also owe Bill O’Reilly for calling FR a “hate site”.
BOR is a ratings whore with no sense of integrity
After reading an excerpt from the book.......(I’d NEVER buy a copy).......and seeing Benedict McClellan’s idiotic accusation that Rove blew Valerie Plame’s “cover” when she NEVER WAS undercover..........and when the whole world knows that Richard Armitage ADMITTED that HE was the one who did it; and after hearing several of his air-headed self-justifications in reply to B.O.R.’s questions, I have concluded that McClellan SHOULD HAVE BEEN a blonde BROAD! I wonder if he actually has a pair!
He was tough on him.
Scott said his book was the truth,Bill told him no,it is your opinion.
Tough on Hillary? Are you serious? He throws bombs, then backs off.
If it is someone he can’t talk over, he usually ends up looking like a dope.
Larry King plays the slow pitch variety. O’Reilly is a little younger, and throws a little harder. Either way, it is still softball.
Well, I watched it and was disappointed.
McClellan’s story is that he wrote this to make things better in Washington. LOL Boy, does he really expect us to swallow this inflated sense of his own importance or should we just accept that it was done for money. Most of what the guy claimed was 20/20 hindsight and based on the current unpopularity of the Bush, the war, the erroneous Plame story - all the liberal talking points.
McClellan fought his case - I’ll say that. But I thought it was a bunch of cheap shots.
Writing this book was the equivalent of putting a flashing neon sign on his head: “Idiot! Idiot!”
I watched the interview & what bothered me was when McLellan stated he’s a “centrist”, which basically told me that he was willing to lie on a daily basis for a paycheck. Completely pathetic. I thought McLellan held his own on believing his own hype.
I think that Bill O’Reilly did a pretty good job in that interview.
McClellan is talking from 20/20 hindsight, like you said, Aria. That is a coward’s way of making a buck. IMHO
He was tougher on him than other interviews I have seen.
But, ole’ Scott had his own talking points and held to them as he did in his whole career. Felt he was going to take politics out of the situation and maybe in some small way he could bring about better government.
Of course, he was not in a position to make the decisions he criticized so now he writes a book and we are supposed to believe that his opinions and decisions would have been better than those of elected people.
Totally ignorant of being used by the left to destroy any regard of the Bush administration.
No mention of the fact that Scott was let go and this is his ploy to regain the spotlight and the funds lost when let go.
