Really? They usually show up in the spring and when you see them you know...tornados are around the corner.

They show up when there is that dead calm before a storm.

Well i just kooked then up to post a pic and it seems I dont know the name of this bird. “cowbird” must be a NE Tx slang thing.

They are white

Oh the initial landscaping is a bit drastic.....but after everything settles down, there's a nice permanent low maintenance lawn.
