I figured I may as well post this to everyone so that they, too, might benefit from the information:

As recent as 25 years ago there was a tooth remedy named “tooth pellets”. If they are still being sold, they are NON-prescription. A small bottle with very small pellets, a bottle within a bottle with red liquid in it that had to be applied to the little pellet. Put one pellet,( the pellets are very tightly wound cotton, ) in the recess of the tooth or in your case in the spot where the tooth has broken and expect instant, and I mean INSTANT relief. One pellet is all you need until it wears off then just put another. The instant the pellet touches the painful area the pain is gone and I mean GONE.

I used to use it on my rugrats when they would get normal children’s cavities.
