DON'T do it, Sarah! Association with McCain will taint you forever. Save yourself for 2012, and let McCain go under by himself -- perhaps taking some hapless RINO VP candidate with him.

Nat Hentoff recently wrote a piece making the case for Sarah Palin, titled “McCain, here is your Vice-President.”
She looks almost too good to be true.

Picking a female VP, and one with both beauty and brains, would be brilliant. She’s got the conservative creds to appeal to conservative voters. As a woman, she can pickup a portion of those who wanted to vote for Hillary.

Mary Ann is looking pretty good these days.
Even that oaf Gilligan would try to hit that, lol
Seriously, she's too conservative for McCain, we all know it, and while she would appeal to conservatives, what does she put in play, Alaska?
Look for McCain to pick a VP that on paper, puts a major state in play, i.e., Pete Wilson of California, or (gawd help us) Rudy in an attempt to put New York in play.

Nothing puts NY in play.
It’s a fallacy that a running mate changes the vote in his state. The last time it made a difference was in LBJ in 64 because he STOLE Texas for Kennedy.
Palin could help with women, who live in all 50 states.

So in other words, you view the female gender as just being stupid enough to throw the lever for a candidate because a woman is on the ticket?
Hey, that sounds like HillaryLogik (c) at work! LOL

Hey, those first two names are great! Bristol, a Nascar track in Tennessee and Piper, a fine American aircraft manufacturer.

Many people like to vote for people who are like them. I wouldn’t call that stupidity unless the candidate doesn’t agree with them Ie a black Republican voting Bobama just to get a brother in.
A lot of on the fence women are gonna be mad Hillary lost. Palin is a mommy with a cute little special needs baby, this will tug at the heartstrings of those women who felt fell for hill’s crocodile tears. Actually those women are stupid.

She's young being only 44 (two years behind Senator Obama), she is wildly knownThat does it for me!
She has a son in the U.S. military.
You can stop, I'm convinced.

I just wouldn't want her choosing names for anything (her children are Bristol, Piper, Track, and Willow). :-)At least none of those names are in a Judy Collins song. :^D

When I hear Willow and Piper, I think Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Piper Laurie is the name of an Oscar-nominated actress.

When I hear Bristol and Track, I think NASCAR! Yeah, and ESPN's H.Q. is in Bristol, CT.

That is breathtaking.
I take my hat off to your unbridled judgmental contempt for those 'stupid women' who would feel empathy for a candidate who happens to be the mother of a "cute little special needs baby".
Holy crap Impy, how have you managed to avoid getting a rolling pin upside your head for this long?

Actually, Obambi picks first. The jackass convention in Denver is August 25-28. The Republican convention in Minneapolis follows September 1-4.

With Alaska’s Lt. Governor already running for the House seat, and Governor Sarah Palin possibly becoming McCain’s final VP choice, who is left in change of the entire state of Alaska?
