Former White House Aide's Revelations Make Out Case for Obstruction of Justice by Rove and Libby in Valerie Plame Case
(Washington, DC) Today Congressman Robert Wexler (D-FL) called for former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan to appear before the House Judiciary Committee to testify under oath regarding the devastating revelations made in his new book on the Bush Administrations deliberate efforts to mislead the American people into the Iraq War.
The admissions made by Scott McClellan in his new book are earth-shattering and allege facts to establish that Karl Rove and Scooter Libby and possibly Vice President Cheney - conspired to obstruct justice by lying about their role in the Plame Wilson matter and that the Bush Administration deliberately lied to the American people in order to take us to war in Iraq. Scott McClellan must now appear before the House Judiciary Committee under oath to tell Congress and the American people how President Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Scooter Libby, and White House officials deliberately orchestrated a massive propaganda campaign to sell the war in Iraq to the American people.
The allegations by this former top White House aide that Rove and Libby deliberately coordinated their stories in order to obstruct justice in the Plame case, that the President deliberately disregarded contradictory evidence related to Iraq, should outrage every American and Congress must respond by initiating immediate aggressive oversight starting with an appearance by McClellan before the House Judiciary Committee. Any continued obstruction by this Administration to prevent White House officials from appearing before Congress cannot be tolerated by this Congress in the face of these shocking revelations.
Congressman Wexler has led a nationwide campaign in favor of holding impeachment hearings for Vice-President Dick Cheney. Congressman Wexler is Chairman of the Europe Subcommittee and a senior member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the House Judiciary Committee.
Curious details about the ‘back story’ of Perseus.

Publisher of the Year
Perseus Books Group
By Jim Millot — Publishers Weekly, 12/3/2007
It may take a village to raise a child, but it’s taken 630 employees scattered across the country to build the Perseus Books Group into what is arguably the most important independent publishing company in the nation, a feat that has made the decade-old company PW’s Publisher of the Year.
Scott McClellan has no knowledge of either the pre-war Whitehouse or the Valerie Plame affair. He came to the Whitehouse after the first war offensive was over and even after Joe Wilson had published his article in the NYT.
*******
I’m not sure that this is accurate. Ari Fleischer just said that Scott was his deputy in the White House, before succeeding him as Press Secretary. Ari is heartbroken over the new Scott.
Interesting. Still reading the link, but it looks like Regnery( conservative publisher) became a part of this group in May of 2007.
Watching McClellan on the Today Show right now. Missed some of it getting my coffee, but it was pretty uneventful...LOL
Matt Lauer tried his best to defend Scott during his interview with Dan Bartlett......LOL
McClellan is just a worm and NBC/MSNBC will be feeding off his bones until there is nothing left. He will probably now get a job on MSNBC as a ‘conservative strategist’ and will back stab our party from now until the election!!

Sad to hear it. Seems like Perseus is just one big vacuum cleaner of publishing houses. That takes a LOT of money.
“That takes a LOT of money.”
Soro’s money!!
Years ago, I did some research on Soro’s while helping a blogger. By far, the most traitorous thing the man has done is use one of his ‘NGO’s’ to ‘train’ Iraqi ‘journalists’, most of who turned out to be nothing more than insurgents and terrorists and went on to open papers in Iraq for the enemies!!
He is a pretty clever man in that he sold his idea for the Institute For War and Peace Reporting to other NGO’s and our State Department as some kind of beacon for democracy...got their funding....then went on to install his ‘minions’ in positions of leadership(one of which was a codepinko) where they undermined our war effort and imho helped to kill our soldiers!!
Soros is truly a traitor to this country and should be brought up on charges!!
He is a living example of the arch-criminals of comic book fame.
“He is a living example of the arch-criminals of comic book fame.”
Looks that way! I would do my ‘LOL’, but it really isn’t funny.
It is deadly serious business. Too bad that our State Department, the CIA and FBI is infested with the same sort of people! Nothing will be done about it.
Nothing funny about it.
Superman and the other superheroes were all private citizens. We need someone like them now to ‘vanquish’ Soros.
The best way to ‘vanquish’ the darkness of evil is to shine the light on it, but alas our media is infested with Soros minions and democrat/marxist rats!
Soon they will destroy conservative forums and talk radio when they get into power. I hate to be such a pessimist, but that’s the mood I am in this morning.
Hopefully, I can lighten up a bit after my morning walk with the dog and a bit of gardening!
Catch u later on the board!
Are you kidding? Soros will provide him with any lawyers he may need if he needs one. I doubt that he will since they are not after him.
Of course they are not after him but they are going to push him to the max. They will want him to provide evidence, proof, that Rove, Libby, Chenney and Bush committed crimes.
I doubt if he has the proof and he will be under enormous pressure to come up with the goods to back his allegations or look like a total ass. I am betting he will look like an ass because he will not want to perjure himself.
However, if he does perjure himself to satisfy his new found friends he will need attorneys by the dozens to keep his fat ass out of jail.
I hope you are right, but I must admit that I don’t believe it will come down that way.
