For about 300 years Jupiter's banded atmosphere has shown a remarkable feature to telescopic viewers, a large swirling storm system known as The Great Red Spot.
In 2006, another red storm system appeared, actually seen to form as smaller whitish oval-shaped storms merged and then developed the curious reddish hue.
Now, Jupiter has a third red spot, again produced from a smaller whitish storm. All three are seen in this image made from data recorded on May 9 and 10 with the Hubble Space Telescope's Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2.
... Jupiter's recent outbreak of red spots is likely related to large scale climate change as the gas giant planet is getting warmer near the equator.

Actually, in an infinite universe, global warming happens countless times.
But the concept, has been, as all things are, used by humans for political reasons.
Don't let it shock you. Some of the temperatures out there would amaze anybody.

No problem.
This thread was meant mainly for informational and educational purposes, though.

We need to find a way to get liberals to think logically and rationally - and then act only logically and rationally.
Anyone have any suggestions on how this can be achieved?

Just goes to show, even something pretty darn good like pizza looks weird when you get too close to it.

You're right.
I wonder how big the Jovian SUVs are these days...

When I think of Gorebull warming...
I can’t help but think of the piles of firewood heaped at the base of the posts where the heretics...er...global warming deniers, are to be tied before being burned for heresy.
The only reason it’s not happened yet is that would mean the “Carbon Inquisition” was increasing the size of its footprint.
Maybe they will use a nice eco friendly hemp rope and hang the heretics instead.

Rare Hubble photo of Algore's 747 "ScareFarce One" landing at the main Jovian airport in 2005 to gather data (and some rocks for the collection he keeps in his head) and to recharge the hot gasses necessary to deliver all those speeches here on earth on man-caused warming.
In case youre wondering why Algore requires such a large aircraft, its because he takes his ego with him wherever he goes.

I really would like to see fusion become a power source. But hey, how do you contain a minimum of 44,000,000 degrees?
Right now the only other option is solar because it is removed from the source.
Still, a Japanese cold fusion project is being researched without any big breakthroughs, as yet.

Wow. That pic brings up a LOT of questions? Like, why does one side of the rings on the right disappear before reaching the sunlight? Why do BOTH (not one, but both) disappear on the left?

P.S. Interesting name. Do you specialize in RINO-plasty? (I know, that’s a pachyderm... pachysandra is the stuff that grows under our swimming pool’s deck.
