Looks like it’s between Barr and Chuck Baldwin...the only real Republicans in the race.
ROTFL
Regardless, I'll vote for Barr before I vote for McCain.
Any word on the VP spot on this ticket?
I guess his gig with the ACLU wasn’t paying enough.....
Here we go! Now we have to choose. A true conservative or a RINO who might win. I need a drink, or three.
“...the strongest ticket in the history of the Libertarian Party”
Isn’t that like being the tallest midget?
Who’s VP nominee?
Here's last week's thread, in case you've forgotten:
Will the Libertarians Spoil McCain's Chances?

Dinsdale to Jack Black
Jack Black: I believe it is Barr, not Paul, who is the odds-on favorite to win the Libertarian nomination.
Dinsdale: I believe it is James Watt, not Nader, who is the odds-on favorite to win the Green party nomination.
Equally likely. Barr is no libertarian and never will be.

Can't win 'em all. Better luck next time, old chap!
It will probably Barr/Root on the Libertarian side and Baldwin/Castle on the Constitution Party.
At least a choice to make.
Shouldn’t this be on breaking news?
The social liberaltarians are jumping with joy at the prospect of undercutting McCain just enough to put Obama or Hillary in there. The sort of people Obama or Hillary will appoint to the supreme court will suit these abortionist hippies to a tee.
I’ve got about as much use for a liberaltarian as a Democrat.
It’ll be a cold day in he!! before this conservative votes for a card-carrying ACLU member. A REALLY cold day. I’ll vote for McCain before I’ll ever vote for Barr.
When will we see a Conservative Party?
Seems a poor pick for the libertarians. He is a drug warrior who voted for the patriot act. And on top of that, his website makes it look like he’s pushing the “fair” tax. And that’s going to create the biggest criminal black market this nation has ever seen.
I think Bob Barr should select Sam Nunn for his veep.
BARR/NUNN ‘08
Simply tells me that the LP has no problem with a Democrat winning the White House in 2008, because they know for a fact that their candidate doesn’t have a chance to win it. They just want to give people the chance to lodge a protest vote. Might make folks feel good, but won’t help our military, do anything for the War on Terror, or help get more Justices on the Supremes who are NOT judicial activists.
Six rounds, eh? Sounds like a party that really knows where it wants to go.
