I will never vote for a black person who was raised to hate America during his or her early years, then taught to hate white people by his or her minister for the last twenty years.
>Anti black sentiment, to an Obama supporter=McCain voter.
We already know racism exists. We don’t need Obama to cry wolf every five minutes about how BAD it supposedly is. It’s his inverse way of playing the race card.
Or Colin Powell or Condoleeza Rice. Plenty of black conservatives who receive horrible treatment from the left.
Crap, messed that one up...screwed something up with the code so the original quote appears and part of my reply disappears!
I think they are confusing opposition to “blame whitey” theology with pro-obama.
This is rife with teh mistake that black people can’t be racist. Racism is racism, they just don’t want to accept it. (its all GWBush’s fault)
Lol that’s certainly gotta be it. If Obama were competeing for the Republican nomination and something of that magnitude were to occur, then the entire Democratic establishment, the media and other’s would have a field day reporting that the Republican Party, full of “rich, white christians’ is a racist cult.
What? Did they look in a mirror?
Oh no, B.O. is getting 99% of the black DemocRat vote because he is a great speaker. His race has nothing to do with it.
Besides, it is not racist to vote for a black because he is black. It is racist to vote against a black for any reason (unless he is a Republican, because we all know that black Republicans are just "Uncle Toms" and don't really count).
I don’t believe all these comments were really said. Especially the one about the tree. It sounds made up.
Possible, yes. Propable, no.
Speaking anecdotally of course, as a white male, I've spent my 50 years, mostly, in Illinois and Indiana. The term, "darky," pre-dates even me.
So I think, (or, at least, would like to think), that an older man would be a little more composed that to utter a line like that.
Also, the term, "hang," is a bit suspicious because an expletive is so much more plausible in a fit of pique.
Just my opinion, of course. I said I was skeptical; I called no one a liar. (I thought it, though).
Regards.
Guys like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson want this kind of reaction. The last thing they want in their heart of hearts is an Obama victory in the Presidential race. They can make more fortunes bitching about white racism. Lord knows they have little else to offer.
Yet calling President Bush "Chimpy McCracker" is perfectly acceptable in their little world.
