Make no mistake, Taiwan and China are moving towards unification on their own, saber rattling seems to be just the “thing” both sides have to do once in a while. Taiwan will end up as a “Special Administrative Region” a la Hong Kong, with nominal control by Beijing but essentially self-rule, an independent currency, and maintaining its own legal, economic, and personal rights system.You may be right, which is why I'm a little hesitant about providing Taiwan with any new weapons systems. Especially if it will just end up in Chinese hands.
