That’s OK...I thought of doing it, but was scared. I get very hysterical (who you?) when things go wrong on the computer. ;)
We had some ecoterrorists protesting GW’s forestry policies by starting some forest fires. They burned 30 square miles of virgin forest.
It has nothing to do with the environment and everything to do w/destroying America. Watermelon environmentalists, Green on the outside and Red on the inside.
Pray for W and Our Troops
So funny...Juan loves the idea of Mrs. Clinton on the ticket as Veep. “Hillary Clinton is a known quantity and brings some star power to the ticket!” (as Brit just rolled his eyes)
You are not alone, Miss Didi :)
Jenna's wedding photos.
Don't see them online yet.
Juan is a lovable putz! but some of his scatterbrain thoughts would best come from a rock... Like Ann Coulter says,” If Demorats had any brains, they would be Republicans!”. Juan continuously illustrates and proves her thesis. GOD BLESS Brit! rolling those eyes. :-)
President George W. Bush and his daughter Jenna Bush pose for a photographer Saturday, May 10, 2008, prior to her wedding to Henry Hager at the Bush family's Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas
They don't allow them at the sanatorium.
Fred was a good prosecutor but as you said not a judge. However, TECHNICALLY it's not really necessary for a SC justice to have any law experience. In practice it would be a tough sell for NO law experience.
I'd take Fred as a 5-15 year place holder any day though in preference to a crap nominee and McCain geniunely likes him.
I should have added that I too REALLY like Bush’s 2 successful appointments.
When I had that problem in Windows XP, I clicked on “all programs”, accessories, system tools, system restore.
I reset it to an earlier date & everything was fixed.
Now, Cedric, be nice...it’s Mother’s Day. ;)
Someday I might have the courage for that...I once installed a mouse and “lost” the Internet and almost died. ;)
Gorgeous gown...so lovely!
The Sunni Arab states don't want us to leave. Under Saddam, Iraq was a buffer between Iran and the Saudi Arabian oil fields. Now the only buffer the Saudis have are the US troops.
In Zawahiri's recent pronouncements, he was warning the Sunni Arabs that if a Democrat gets elected there will be a rapprochement between the US and Iran and the Sunnis will be toast. He was doing that to frighten them, but it gives you some insight into their apprehensions.
Anyone seen Snugs this morning/afternoon?
It’s time for dinner pictures!
I think you’re right that even if McCain wins, unless it’s a real, humongous rout, he’d be facing a hostile senate. Stevens and Ginsberg would almost be guaranteed openings and Mr. oh-So-Happy-To-Compromise Maverick would probably be seriously pressured. In that scenario a compromise close-to-his-expiration-date candidate could, alas, be the best we could hope for.
And I really, really wish J R Brown would find the will and fortitude to withstand the inevitable smears.
Long term solutions are for others who actually care about the country, they don't.
For example gas goes to $4.00 per gallon so they need an immediate fall guy. The oil companies look like a good mark so they tag them. It's their fault. One short term fix that makes them look good. DBM will of course do their bidding. Most msmers know what a sham it is but the drive-bys play along. Why not they are socialists as well.
Think about it, how long term is McCain anyway, none of these guys really care about legacies until their coffers are full to over full. It's expedience and incremental ism. That gets the job done, always works, may not be too good for the country but then who cares.
Always about the money with these guys and about expedience, fast buck, tomorrow only.
Like MNJ said before, Dodd could have ok ed anwar ten years ago and it would be flowing oil now. But it did him no good at the time just like now. Only tomorrow counts not next year.
