Great post and something we should always remember! It's not so much the "change" for a dollar but how you feel about getting 10 cents back from every bama dollar.

I have long half-jokingly (only half, mind you...) quipped to friends and acquaintances that the primary Force which moves the cosmos is irony... I have my own name for "Murphy's Law." I call it "the irony effect."

Obama has to finish the Clintons off once and for all and remove any vestige of power that they might retain. That's a dream we all have but even a 1/4 of a loaf would be much appreciated.(I'll take the "change")

Agreed about Rudy's ability and willingness to be an attack dog, but remember he along with Gov. Schwartzenkennedy and one other fool I can't remember now endorsed McCain right after the Florida primary.
Also, Rudy only got ONE delegate...

Great link proving beyond a shadow of a doubt the dems are still to this day invested in defeat.

“I remain amazed that Democrats think a hard left-wing radical racist, with one term as a US Senator, can be elected as President of the United States.
I am amazed that Reps can think its party maverick who has voted against his own party on so many issues like amnesty, drilling in ANWAR, taxes, global warming, political free speech, embryonic stem cell research, closing GITMO, etc. can be elected President of the United States.”
I am amazed that some FORGET that it was DEMOCRATS the gave us McCain... NOT Republicans.
I am Amazed That There are many Republicans who never had a chance to Vote their choice, such as myself.
I am Amazed that Some Now try to make this a Republican fault.
I am Amazed....

I studied Weyerhauser in my last year of college. They were a paper company that planted 10 trees for every one they harvested.
What the enviro wackos have done to this industry, the nuclear industry, oil, etc. even fishing is beyond a disgrace. We need to counter them and show them for the fools/commies they truly are every chance we get.

It's also about radio expertise IMHO.
Limbaugh is one of the best at his trade ever and BOR remains a wannabe on radio. He's far better on TV where he undoubtedly belongs.

Excellent points but I have counted them out before and it was always a mistake.
These people have learned the game well and remain as ruthless as ever willing to do most anything to achieve power at any cost.

Dicke Cheney was another suggestion for an attack dog that McDole couldn’t control, and now that the Republican primary is over, McDole needs all the help he can get because he doesn’t fight well with Democrats unless the media wants to portray his moderate support, which can’t be count on.

Fred said no way he'd be VP and you are right he left little to no room for turning around.
When I referred to McCain choosing Fred, I meant as Supreme Court nominee.
I don't know if he'd even want it; he might turn that down too, but he would be wonderful in that position and I THINK it would be hard for Senate hit men like Leaky, Schmucky, and even the Drowner to attack Fred. For one thing, he would leave them looking like the pathetic, brain dead losers they are.

I love Fred, but we wouldn’t want to name him to the SC. Too old, known illness, and no judicial experience would all be problematic. Fred’s probably even too long out of the senate to glide through confirmation because of that. I think Bush got the model right, after a little browbeating, with his two Justices.
To: Ditter
I get the point, Ditter, and I admit that worries me too. However, there is a counter-point that “our” people in congress would resist really bad moves by Hillary/Obama but would be likely to feel they had to support “our” president even when he makes really bad moves. Especially amnesty which all three want to implement.

This idea of joint townhall meetings between Obama and McCain is going nowhere.
Obama is simply not up to it and he knows it. They cannot let him go out there unprotected by media “moderators.”

Prediction, McDole’s Mother will continue to get tons of Media time to get her to=>
Kathleen Gingrich resisted at first, but Chung kept at her: “Why don’t you just whisper it to me, just between you and me.”
.
Just hope her vocabulary isn’t similar to what Obama’s accusations against his own Grandmother are. Another Happy Mother’s day moment.
