Serious question:
I know LA county covers a very large area, but how can NORMAL law-abiding, hard-working, honest Americans continue to live there?
I’m in OC, watching my property values plummet. Right now, it’s kinda hard to get out...
I am SO open to VIABLE suggestions.......

Where do they go? I was run out of Southern Oregon by illegal aliens. Moved to the mountains away from it all.....I thought.....a couple miles from me armed Mexican drug cartels are growing dope all over the place.
HOWEVER! On the flip side of that....this mess is now overtaking the whole country. Yea, some areas are still not as bad as the southwest, but hey...
And there IS something to be said for standing up for what you believe in and not giving in to the thugs!!!

Why do people want to live in Southern California?
My parents were born in Los Angeles in the 1920s. It is, or was, a beautiful place before the huge influx from back east after 1955. We left in 1969 for Oregon, another beautiful place, or used to be before the influx from back east in the early 1970s.
Today all three western states, California, Oregon, and Washington, are being invaded by foreign nationals from south of the border.
You’ve posed a very good question about why law-abiding, hard-working “normal” Americans continue to live there. Actually, fewer and fewer are. Indulge me a quote from a NY Times best-seller on the foreign illegal invasion:

Job, family, and specialized coach for the kids. The weather too. If we good conservatives are stuck here, we have to keep fighting the powers that be to make it better. Thank G-d for John and Ken and other muckrakers. Our mainstream press and politicians are useless.

In 2000 the population was 9,519,338 with whites being 48.7% of the population and blacks 9.8%. Hispanics of all races were 44.6%. In just six years, the demographics are changing fairly rapidly.
In 1990 there were 5,035,103 whites and 3,351,242 Hispanics of all races. The Hispanic population has grown by almost 1.4 million in 16 years.
