Barack Obama won the North Carolina Democratic primary Tuesday, FOX News projects, preventing Hillary Clinton from staging an election-day upset in the Tar Heel State.
Clinton took the lead in Indiana, but it was still too early to call the race.
The two states are the last big contests on the primary calendar and together offer the final chance for the candidates to make a serious dent in the delegate counts.
Both candidates were faring well among bases usually loyal to their campaigns Tuesday.
In Indiana, Clinton’s advantage is based on groups that have supported her in earlier primaries — white women, white working-class voters and rural voters.
With 63 percent of precincts reporting, Clinton led 54-to-46 percent.

I turned my tv off while he was spewing his leftist drivel. I can’t stand listening to him or seeing him. Cannot stand him or his racist, militant wife.
Our only hope is to get out the vote in November and push conservatives for Congress. We can’t do a dang thing with the presidency. It’s going to be one of the 3 evils. We have got to get as many conservatives as we can in Congress now and in 2 years to at least stall the next president in hopes that we can do better 4 years from now.

It’s unthinkable that they are seriously going to nominate a man to the left of Hillary. Who thought such a thing was possible? I’d wager you and I and most freepers know more about Barack Obama than 90 % of the Democrats who are voting for him.

The thought of that Marxist from Illinois and his racist wife in the White House gives me nightmares. It’s seriously starting to look like Carter redux. What is WRONG with people? As I reported on the Rush thread...On the 5th Avenue bus today, I heard a woman filling the black woman bus driver’s ear about Bonnie and Clyde...”Those two are corrupt as the day is long...so what about Rev. Wright, Hillary worked for the Black Panthers.” I was giggling and ready to join in but then she went on and on about poor Barry and how she felt sorry for him. “It’s the ‘dese and dose’ people in Pennsylvania who don’t like blacks,” she concluded. That’s when I got off the bus and walked.
That's really not enough,is it? I was planning to vacation in the Wilmington area, now I wouldn't feel safe anywhere in the state.
