Rep. Corrine Brown (D-FL) threatened to "shut down the Democratic convention"

About 200 Democrats from Florida did indeed picket outside the Democratic National Committee headquarters building on Ivy Street in Southeast Washington today. According to my colleagues at CongressDaily, Rep. Corrine Brown (D-FL) threatened to "shut down the convention" unless the full delegation were restored. Many of the protesters were members of LULAC, a Latino-rights group.

By all means, EVERY vote in Florida and Michigan should count!! There can NOT be voter DISENFRANCHISEMENT, that's just un-American. It's not the man on the street's fault that the states decided to dis the DNC and have their primaries early--why should Joe Blow and Jane Doe be punished by LOSING their votes this way?!? LULAC is right to protest Howard Dean and the DNC!!! COUNT THE VOTES!! COUNT THE VOTES!! COUNT THE VOTES!!!
