From Obama's Church, he wasn't there that day, and he never reads the bulletin, too busy.

I was sure this was satire, at first.

It’s not satire.

I added a keyword.

Don’t miss the opportunity to drive five miles south to Bethlehem. Feel the ecstasy of entering the most dramatic cave in which the Virgin Mary delivered her beautiful Palestinian baby.

Huh? What was this woman smoking?

Oprah was so much smarter than Barry. She knew that a public figure with a billion dollars like herself had no business sitting in a church pew listening to an America hating loony Marxist demagogue like Jeremiah Wright. Barry and his lovely wife Michelle on the other hand were public figures who had essentially nothing to lose, they did not have a billion dollars to lose, all they had to their name was a potful of affirmative action and a billion dollars worth of ambition.

"My family tree and my roots in Palestine go back to time immemorial, long before Islam, Christianity and Judaism came into being."

Hey, that's just terrific for you, Ali. You must know all about the history of your land, then.

1. What was the capitol city of Palestine in 3000 BC? In 2000 BC? In 1000 BC, In 0 BC? In 1000 AD? In 1500 AD?

2. What was your currency called? (Dinars? Dollars? etc.) What was the conversion rate with Roman currency, say - in 300 BC and 300 AD?

3. What was the structure of the government in the years in question 1? Kings and Queens? Dictators? Some form of democracy? Other? - please explain.

4. When the Romans conquered the place about 2,200 to 2,300 years ago, What Palestinian ruler was toppled out of power?

5. When the Roman empire fell, hundreds of years later, what Palestinian government reconstituted itself at that time?

6. Was that same form of government still in operation at 1000 AD? 1500 AD?

Thanks for the history lesson, Ali. VERY illuminating...

“My home is only a couple of blocks away from the Via Dolorosa, the path he took to his crucifixion.:

Oops...she forgot the part where Allah replaced Jesus with a dopple ganger, so that He wasn’t actually crucified.

But I guess it’s more important that she appear as being friendly to Christians. Oops...forgot again. Muslims aren’t allowed to take Christians or Jews as friends. But what the hay...taquia is ok.

If nothing else, the War on Terror should at least enable us to give these people a decent historical education, because this lady doesn’t know what in the WORLD she is talking about.

Interesting that I don't remember Palestine being mentioned in either the Old or New Testaments. There were different 'countries' mentioned; Judea, Samaria, Philistia, etc, but I don't remember reading anything about Palestine. Even doing a Google search for Ancient Palestine doesn't show any place that was actually called Palestine.

According to the map, from the 10th to 6th centuries BC, the area was divided into two Kingdoms, Israel and Judah, and Jews have occupied those lands ever since, even during the Babylonian Exile, when the elite classes were sent to Babylon, and tradespeople and others stayed. When Cyrus sent the others back from Babylon, he sent them back to specifically have a place to worship their God, in freedom. The area has been conquered many times, but the Jews have always been there. The Muslims didn't arrive until late in the 7th century, so they certainly have no prior claim on the land.

What most 'Palestinians' think of as their 'ancestral homeland' was actually a construct of the British Empire in the late 19th or early 20th century, so their beef shouldn't be with the US, it should be with the UK!
