Rush: "If Hillary wins it isn't goint to be my fault!"
Rush's Show ^ | 4/29/08 | Rush

If Mrs. Clinton wins the nomination, it isn't going to be my fault. My objective was not to see that either of these two won specifically. One of them was going to. It was to see to it that just this kind of thing happened. Operation Chaos, a profound success, ladies and gentlemen.

You can explain it forever, but they still won’t get it.

How can he deny what is fact. Rush use to be great...always point out the truth in ways no one could deny. Then he decides to get involved in our election process in a way that may doom our cause. He reminds my of the O.J. Simpson jury. He is no longer relevant, and I canceled my 24/7 yesterday. Thanks Rush, but you made a huge mistake just to stroke your ego.

Rush haters here in 3..2..1.. oops too late the piranha can’t wait.

I listen to Rush virtually every day and have been since 1995. He's generally a good guy.

But he sure did make a major blunder with this idiotic op chaos. I think it's time for him to say he screwed up and that, just like the rest of us human beings, he's not infallible.

(1) It’s a virtual lock that Obama will be the nominee and he will be seriously weakened due in part to Operation Chaos.

It is now impossible for Obama to get the nomination. Why do you think the governor of NC, a state that Obama was suppose to get easily, went with Hillary?

(2)Do you think this Wright crap would be getting all this press coverage if Clinton had already dropped out?

Of course, we had the videos, Obama is green, and Wright can't help himself.

(3)Do you think this isn’t creating a huge wedge in the party grassroots and especially among the superdelegates?

The much bigger wedge would have been between normal Americans and Obama.

I am beginning to understand why FR is having trouble meeting the $$ goal.

I would totally agree. Even "so called" conservatives are throwing conservatives under the bus.

Truth is, it won't be Limbaughs fault, Obama, Hillary and McCain are are gross turds that need to be buried.

The fault lies with all of us who allow ourselves to be manipulated into accepting repulsive people as candidates.

I don't even blame the candidates, I blame us for sitting back and allowing ourselves to accept trash as the next POTUS.

You can’t explain anything to these anti-Rush bots. They have their bias and that’s that. Also, it’s based on an emotional view of the issue; not a evaluated view.

He’s right it isn’t. I think those who think Rush controls the nominations have a very overrated view of the influence he has in democrat nominations. The crossover vote isn’t THAT high.

If Rush and Hannity had held their Obama fire the MSM would never have given it legs.

I’m not an “Anti-Rushbot”....I actually like and admire him in a lot of ways. I just think there is something very, very, very wrong here with the way he’s handled this and how he’s having to ‘explain’ his actions most of the time. It reminds me of how my daughter used to ‘explain’ things to me when she was so much trouble in high school.....none of it made any sense.

"Yes, but you will have had a hand in it, sir."

True. Infighting among us stuck us with McCain over a more conservative candidate though. And don't forget that a little over a third of Obama supporters say they'll vote for McCain if Hillary is the nominee, and a quarter of Hillary supporters say they'll vote for McCain if Obama is the nominee. In addition, 'protest voters' have mysteriously stopped advocating that we vote for Hillary to teach our party 'a lesson', and people who would have otherwise stayed home are now ready to bit the bullet and vote against Hillary and Obama.

AT THIS POINT IN TIME, neither Democrat is looking at an easy win. All is not lost. Cheer up.

Rush attacked Huckabee before SC

Huckabee is no conservative, he is however a moral socialist!

Supporting Fred is not destroying conservative candidate, it is supporting Fred (BTW-not conservative enough for me). Rush has not destroyed a conservative and he is not a cheerleader for the GOP! If you need to say something bad about him he didn't give the most conservative candidates a boost early on, men like Hunter or Tancredo, that could have elevated them into the running instead of vanishing in obscurity. But then Rush is an entertainer and an analyst not a hired strategist for the Republican party.

Do you really think that Obama’s Pastor flap would have gotten the attention if this were a Obama verses McCain race?

It would have gotten more attention because it would have happened in the finals.

Impossible for Obama to get the nomination? Do you do simple math?

The Wright crap wouldn't be anywhere on the MSM (you know, the media that still ultimately counts) if Clinton was already out of the race.

Normal Americans, as you put it, don't really decide who the nominee will be. The Democrats rigged it that way decades ago.

You Chaos deniers are going to look pretty silly in a few months.

We're conservatives. We're SUPPOSED to be the ones who think for ourselves. Blaming others for doing our thinking for us is both lazy and a lame, lefty excuse (oxymoron alert).
