Rush: "If Hillary wins it isn't goint to be my fault!"
Rush's Show ^ | 4/29/08 | Rush

Posted on 04/29/2008 3:49:57 PM PDT by prolifefirst

If Mrs. Clinton wins the nomination, it isn't going to be my fault. My objective was not to see that either of these two won specifically. One of them was going to. It was to see to it that just this kind of thing happened. Operation Chaos, a profound success, ladies and gentlemen.

"Don't some of these posters sound EEERILY like the ones who “used to love Bush, but now I'll never vote for him again”?"

Yep! Too bad history will take a while to give "W" all the credit he deserves for how far he went knocking down AQ in such a short time with relatively low (I won't say "minimum") losses. Not to mention eliminating the Saddam & WMD problems in Iraq. If we're around, we'll read some of those posters you mentioned telling how they voted for "W".

That train left that station the day Rush and Hannity said: "Me too! Me too!" after ABC broke the Wright story.

In case you haven't heard, Hannity has been pounding on the Wright issue since sometime last year, long before ABC discovered it.

BOTH of them are hopelessly weakened by Operation Chaos.

The democrats are breaking up and Rush is just trying to take some credit and it is pissing them off. The dems have done this to themselves but, what makes them furious is that Rush is basking in their mess, gloating in their dilemma. Fact is Rush is just daring Hilary to engage in a scorched earth policy for a possible chance at the nomination and she is obliging. This would be a riot, and will be in Denver, if the McCain was not the other parties nominee.

“It is now impossible for Obama to get the nomination. Why do you think the governor of NC, a state that Obama was suppose to get easily, went with Hillary?”

Gov. Sleasely has been talked about as a potential VP choice for the beast.

I will always believe Rush/Sean and conservative talk radio helped save Hillary’s campaign. In my mind she was on life support, and they bailed her out with the Wright and other revelations. Why not save this information until Obama wins the nomination?

I’ve gone as far as sending Rush an email pleading with him to discontinue Operation Chaos. I’m sure he never saw the email, but in the one in one thousand chances he did, I was hoping against hope to convince him to stop. (Believing the country will be in deep danger if Hillary ends up in the White House.)

From Rush's commentary:

"Yes, ladies and gentlemen! The woman who secured and organized Reverend Wright's appearance at the press club is a Hillary Clinton supporter, Barbara Reynolds. On a blog linked to her Web site ... Reynolds said in a February post: 'My vote for Hillary in the Maryland primary was my way of saying thank you' to Clinton and her husband for the successes of Bill Clinton's presidency. The same post criticized Obama's 'Audacity of Hope' theme: 'Hope by definition is not based on facts,' wrote Reynolds. 'It is an emotional expectation. Things hoped for may or may not come. But help based on experience trumps hope every time.'" So this woman is not only plugging for Hillary, she's out there berating Obama's entire campaign theme. In another blog entry, Reynolds gives an ever-sharper critique of Obama: 'It is a sad testimony that to protect his credentials as a unifier above the fray, the senator is fueling the media characterization that Rev. Dr. Wright is some retiring old uncle in the church basement.' So she thinks that this guy is a nutcase from way back and that Obama has not been honest about his relationship. And she is the one who organized the appearance of Reverend Wright at the National Press Club on Monday. "

Rush certainly didn't have anything to do with THAT.

But, the way it will go is Hillary will get the nom, and to gain the Black vote she MUST name Obama as VP. They beat McNutCase hands-down....And Limbaugh will shoulder the blame.

It will happen this way.

You may be walking.

Maybe the fiirst sunny day ofthe spring,

and a carwill slow besideyou,

and the doorwill open,

and someoneyou know, maybe even trust,

will get out ofthe car.

And he will smile, a becoming smile.

But he will leave open the door of the car

and offer to give you a lift.

I’m not talking about the ones who disagree, I disagree with him and say so on this forum. I said so in that post. You must have missed that part. I’m talking about the people bashing him. Bashing is not expressing disagreement, it’s simply attack. Those who weren’t bashing, disregard my post.

I used to LOVE Rush. Now I can’t stand the sound of his name. The fact that he has been encouraging people to vote for Hillary and now denies responsibility for people actually doing it is one more piece of evidence that he is a CINO. He uses you true believers to milk every day like a a dairy farmer. If Hillary wins, he will bear much of the responsibility, not just for supporting her, but for destroying conservative candidates.

Bingo, needs repeating.

If Limbaugh wants to do something now, it shouldn't be to change tactics on Operation Chaos and try to boost Obama's number -- that horse has left the barn. The current situation is that the Rev. Wright situation has given the super-delegates just enough cover to plausibly explain going against the pledged delegates, and Limbaugh should work to take away that cover by some other means. Boosting Obama's turnout won't be that means anymore.

Bingo.

Obama was the candidate we always wanted to run against.

Barack is becoming less and less of a viable candidate in the eyes of all with the exception of African American voters.

"Leave Rush alone!"

I started listening to rush in the late 80's when a guy named Lionel (who now has his own liberal talk show) was just a caller. I have defended conservative principals forever. Rush is not a true conservative. I believe he was once, but now he is an elitist like Hillary and Bill. He believes in fame, money and power. he lives his multi-divorced, childless, drug-induced, narcissistic life and couldn't care less about our children's future as long as he has ratings.

"What do you mean 'we', Kemo Sabe?"

Those of us who want neither to win. Sorry, should have been more clear to those of the type who may or may not want neither to win.

There are no statistics that show significant numbers have voted in the Democratic primaries because of it. Nothing.

If Rush and Hannity don't give the Wright story legs Obama for sure wins the nomination, now he for sure does not.

El Rushbo is backpeddling like crazy. He underestimated the Clintons once again.

I'm not a Rush hater, as some accuse anyone who disagrees with Rush are. Actually, I'm a paying 24/7 customer. That said, I think you have nailed it.
