Rush's Show ^ | 4/29/08 | Rush

If Mrs. Clinton wins the nomination, it isn't going to be my fault. My objective was not to see that either of these two won specifically. One of them was going to. It was to see to it that just this kind of thing happened. Operation Chaos, a profound success, ladies and gentlemen.

Yes. I see that El Rushbo may be backpeddling a bit. If he now moves his forces over to supporting Obama my faith in him will be somewhat restored.b

Since WHEN does the MSM air a democrats dirty laundry in the finals?

We had the Rev. Wright videos, the Bill Ayers info, Swift-boaters, a green candidate and spotlight-hungry pastor.

If you mean me, see my post 99 where I detail my thinking further. I'm not a supporter of Chaos, but I'm not in anybody's closet either.

He's made some mistakes, and I've had more than one disagreement with him, but I for one AM NOT GOING TO THROW HIM UNDER THE BUS...We are not Democrats!

How is expressing disagreement with him "throwing him under the bus"?

anti-Rush bots = McCainiacs

Perhaps some. Others simply can't stand his self-confidence and apparent ego. But most fear anything that would allow the Clintons even a remote chance back in the WH. As I said, it's emotional, and OC has given many the opportunity to vent on one person they've come to loath; Rush.

OC is not that big a deal. There are no statistics that show significant numbers have voted in the Democratic primaries because of it. Nothing. And all this angst is a waste of time.

LOL! Sorry, CinC Yusuk. You'll be walking the plank. Afterwards we might draw and quarter you just for the heck of it.

BS I would have preferred Fred to have run a decent campaign or Romney. But it's McCain and in spite of all the insults tossed at him by Rush and many on this site he is light years better than the two Marxists.

TO ALL RUSH BASHERS AND OTHER AND THOSE WHO DEIGN CALL THEMSELVES THEMSELVES "CONSERVATIVE" FREEPERS:

DON'T KNOW THE AGE OF ALL OF YOU, BUT WOULD GUESS THAT MOST OF THOSE WHO ARE HELL BENT ON DENIGRATING THE ONE PERSON WHO HAS BEEN MOST REPOSNSIBLE FOR THE CONSERVATIVE MOVEMENT BEING WHAT IT IS TODAY, WOULD BE HARD PRESSED TO KNOW (IF YOU WERE EVEN AROUND) WHAT IT WAS LIKE BACK IN THE 1980'S BEFORE RUSH CAME ALONG.

IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH HIM, DON'T LISTEN. GET YOUR "TALKING POINTS" FROM AIR AMERICA, PBS, CRHIS MATHEWS, KEITH OLBMERMAN.

ANYWAY, TO ONE AND ALL RUSH BASHERS, "HERE'S YOUR SIGN!"

here's your sign2

“Why can't they get the picture?
Why don't they understand?
We're not dealing with the planet of apes, we're talking about the modern man.
So you people with them itsy bitsy teensie weensie tiny minds...
Here's your sign.

”I just hate stupid people.
They should have to wear signs that just say I'm stupid.
That way you wouldn't rely on them, would you?
You wouldn't ask them anything. It would be like, ‘Excuse me...oops, never mind’
‘I didn't see your sign’."

By the way, have you ever heard of this Old English Proverb?:

“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

He’s not backpeddling.
He said a while back that his strategy is open to change.
His operation has never been about helping to nominate one or the other.
His operation has always been about sowing chaos in the ‘Rat party, and keeping their nomination process going as long as possible, hopefully to the convention.

I suspect after seeing the Wright effect on Obama, that strategy is changing now.

You are correct Clinth8r. I think Op. Chaos began with Rush’s disgust with McCain’s nomination by the dem’s cross-over vote.

Dems are aghast at the repub cross-over vote, and are determined to make it stop. They thought we would play by the rules as always, and never even notice they were switching parties for the primaries.

Now they are squirming and racing to find a legal way to stop the crossing.

If nothing else, Op Chaos could change the way primaries are run.

Hope McCain picks a fantastic VP to build up some enthusiasm. Hope the military ballots are counted. Hope photo ID is used for each vote cast. That’s all I have left - hope, but Op Chaos gave that little scrap.

Rush told the folks in NC and Indiana to wait until the last minute to vote.

Then he ordered an operational pause today.

That train left that station the day Rush and Hannity said: "Me too! Me too!" after ABC broke the Wright story.

Didn’t mean anybody in particular...the Chaos deniers are known by what the post here. They’re already calling it a failure with unintended consequences before it’s even over.

Yes. We haven’t had the doing crack in the back seat with a John or Huma-gate yet. At least not the main-stream. However, if we get to the finals with a strong Obama or Hillary, You can bet your bippy we will NOT have a scandal of these proportions aired out with the White House on the line.

Rush just capitalized on a trend which was already underway. People were crossing over to vote in the Dem primaries, and Rush jumped aboard and took credit. Smart business move and a bit opportunistic.
