This hits close to home. Ive got a wife, two teenage daughters and a female dog. All of my sister in-laws live locally, with all daughters except for 2 nephews who live further away who I rarely see. A family dinner is typically 14 people...11 women and 3 men. I found it quite amusing at Christmas, looking around the family room at my family. About 20 or so woman running around, cackling away and barking out orders to the few husbands and/or boyfriends who were all cowering together in one corner of the room. All five of us. Weve adopted a very helpful motto...just shut up and go to work.
I know the feeling, where I work at, we have like 4 or 5 women in the room and I'm the only "rooster." Sometimes they go on like there is no rooster in the room, it's kind of fun copying the mail but other times, it is tough for my to relate. Politically, Hillary dominates and I'm the "only right wing nutcase and warmonger for McCain." B-) B-P I tried to explain a sane energy policy once but they wouldn't hear it, they blame President Bush and oil companies for the game prices. Sigh, there are times I feel alone. B-(

Anybody who believes this has never worked in an all-female office.
Believe me, I know, I'm the only "rooster" in my office. B-) B-P

Imagine how the world will look when the trash is NEVER taken out, the lawn NEVER gets mowed, the oil is NEVER changed and shopping is considered a PROFESSION. I will be worshipped. *\;-)

You know, I’m not sure I agree, but you might be right. My dad wasn’t perfect, but he loved me and took care of me and was a tenderhearted dad.

Much of the same old $hit as far as I am concerned.
I must say, however, that it seems that women AND men in general are getting “dumb” in most cases today. Most people(I would say, 70% of Americans), would rather hear about American Idol, or Survivor or just lap up “it's all Bush's fault” rather than actually TRY and understand ANYTHING about science, world affairs or a TRUE alternative energy solution, such as fusion or fuel cell power.
As for what else would not get done?? I would imagine VERY few electrical/electronic repairs of ANY kind would get done, without men here. So, it would NOT take long for everything to just “grind to a halt”.
At least not ALL women are man-haters though. I happen to have a CLOSE friend right now, who is a VERY kind and intelligent LADY, who is more of a friend to me on a consistent basis than any of the guy friends in my life, who are NOT often there when I need them, or are NOT comforting at ALL when I need some understanding in my life. Good thing too, since many of my "on-line" friends are no more.

You know me, girl. I never argue. If anyone is looking for a flame war with me, they are in for a big disappointment. In all my 74 years, I've never seen anyone change their mind once it is set. Waste of time to try.
Hey, sure hope you are having a good time. (((((Allegra)))))

“Dont you know that thats why men have nipples?”
I was sitting at a bar, the guy next to me was nursing a drink. Boy were my nipples sore!
(I think that was a Nipsy Russell joke)

Yeah, I hear ya. I know most of them are good people, just ignorant, not knowing or caring what the truth is or to go out and investigate and learn. It's a shame. I know there are times President Bush has disappointed me, but I hate it when he gets blamed for everything from flat tires to high oil prices to cancer.

Well, I'm sure there are some female technicians but they would get so overwhelmed that things would slow down and "grind to a halt" as you say. It would be like having one worker for accounting for a huge company, his workload would be so high, he's never get done.

Yeah, I remember you talking about her, I'm glad you have at least her to talk to, I know I have one myself, that is easy to take to at work and we are good friends. I do like people that let you explain things, even if you don't quite win them over, at least to listen to where you at least get them to think. The "talk to the hand attitude" of many people are getting to me.

I walked near a clothing store having a sale that was held once a year. I saw no hope for world peace in the store.

"Bryan Sykes"
A true metrosexual (or worse) name if I have ever heard one.
Probably has Lifetime Cable piped directly into his office.
Cheers!

>But would the absence of men make the world a better place? There would be far fewer wars without men on the planet,...
And yet those wars would be more devastating than ANY such “male war”... reference “Bloody Mary” and the stark contrast between men and women regarding physical confrontation; men can laugh about it and become friends, women almost never.
