Eliot Spitzer hit with further sex allegations

Eliot Spitzer, the former Governor of New York, has been hit by further allegations about his sexual predilections in the wake of the prostitution ring scandal that led to his downfall.
Mr Spitzer is now being linked to a second prostitute
Mr Spitzer, the former scourge of Wall Street who had been tipped as a possible future Democratic candidate for the White House, is being linked to a second woman who he allegedly paid for sexual services.
According to reports in the New York Post, federal investigators have uncovered the identity of the second woman - who remains nameless.
She is alleged to have corroborated the testimony of Ashley Alexandra Dupre, an amateur singer who was the first call girl to be linked to Mr Spitzer.
In her conversations with investigators, the new informant told how the former governor was fond of using sex toys to enhance his own pleasure.
She also gave further details as to his specific sexual fetishes in graphic detail, "divulging that he a penchant for props," the Post reports.
The woman also added that he liked to keep his socks on during sex - something alleged previously by Republican operative Roger Stone.
Investigators tracked her down after reviewing records surrounding the original case, which erupted in March after the New York Times claimed he had been identified as a regular client of the Emperors Club VIP, a high-class call-girl service.
At the time, the criminal complaint identified Mr Spitzer simply as "Client-9", and detailed how he had been caught, via a federal wiretap, arranging to meet Ms Dupre, who he knew as 'Kristen" at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington DC.
Ms Dupre has gone on to profit from the situation, selling more than 200,000 copies of her single "What We Want" over the internet, and has been linked to suggestions of book and film deals as well as numerous modeling offers after gaining worldwide notoriety.
It is not known if Mr Spitzer's second prostitute was linked to the Emperors Club.
Mr Spitzer meanwhile has disappeared from the New York political scene which he dominated for more than a decade, and is understood to be spending time with wife Silda and their three children.

Spitzer was caught (and is likely to be prosecuted) under a relatively obscure statute called “structuring,” according to a Justice Department official.
Structuring involves creating a series of financial movements designed to obscure the true purpose of the payments.
Spitzer faces possible criminal charges because of his alleged structuring of payments to sham corporations set up by the international brothel, Emperors Club VIP, located in Cliffside Park, NJ.
Spitzer reportedly made a series of wire transfers - each in themselves totaling less than $10,000 - from an account at a North Fork Bank branch to a “front company” for the hooker outfit. He later asked the bank to remove his name from the transactions, sparking an IRS inquiry that ultimately led to an FBI corruption investigation.
Another source said that in late January, Mr Spitzer went to the Grand Central Station Office on Lexington Avenue, where he purchased two money orders for $1,000 each, and a third for $800.
If Spitzer, as suspected, used those funds to pay for prostitutes, he could be prosecuted under money-laundering statutes for financially supporting a criminal enterprise.
