We don’t nominate candidates or elect presidents on a national basis, so why do they even waste their time doing these national polls?

These numbers still reflect each Democrat’s personal belief that their own candidate will be the party nominee. The more bitter the battle between Obama and Clinton, the bigger the drop in Democrat poll numbers will be, once the nominee has been selected.

I live in a county that has gone democrat for over a hundred years and I can tell you now Obama will get his ass kicked in the fall by the weakest Republican candidate we have had in a long time.

Where are the superdelegates on this poll?
If they had the courage of their convictions (none and none), they would have caved already and publicly come out for Obama by acclamation.

Never believe a Newsweek poll. Never. Newsweek is so in the back pocket of the Democratic Party that it rivals NYT as the official rag of the party.

Push polling, it looks like to me . Watch her win by 20 points in Pennsylvania.
To: Jet Jaguar
This is not surprising, and it means two things: First, the heart of the democrats is FAR to the left. They must be sick of all the lying and all the concealment. BHO finally gives thema candidate who will talk the talk and walk the walk, and they love him for it. Secondly, everybody hates Hillary Clinton.

This poll sounds way off. I don't trust it.
I've been watching Rasmussen's polls and there has been a national shift towards Obama but not of this magnitude.
Perhaps dims outside of PA are realizing she is self-centered and will drag this out even if it costs dims the general election.

Hillary has been trying to make the case that she can win the national election, with polls such as this, her argument seems to be withering as Obama chips away at her so-called "inevitability".
Of course with new friend and supporter, Commander in Chief, Operation Chaos, Rush Limbaugh, she may just be the winner after all.
