That tingly feeling running down his leg at the very thought of running for office cinched it for him.

"It's part of reporting this case, this election, the feeling most people get when they hear Barack Obama's speech. My, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don't have that too often."

Aw ... geeze ... Matthews couldn't even play cowboys & indians, never mind playing another, less than usless, senator.
Of course his leg tingles would be working overtime, being in the midst of all those intellectually deficient, corrupt, money stealing pols.

I think that maybe he’s more qualified to be an astronaut, or a lion tamer, or maybe a cowboy!
Just what the senate needs, another mouth-breathing, spittle-showering barking moonbat.

He’s certainly qualified, since there aren’t any qualifications.

He would be no better at attracting voters than viewers. The boy runs in last place in his time period. In politics, if you do not get the most votes, you do not stay in the game.My TV was tuned to MSNBC for a whole day once... The batteries in my remote died, and I didn't have any fresh ones at home. I have to say that it was easy to find other things to do than watch TV that day!

See the empty suit and empty pantsuit run for president from a hotly contested /sarcasm Senate races, would give Matthews the impression that he is of their caliber. I would tend to agree.

Why is it all the major incompetents run for office? Matthews is nothing more than a political hack, as his record amply shows. Why can’t we get some truly intelligent, competent people to run?

Look out Ted Kennedy! If Chrissy wins, you’ll have competition for the treasured “Fattest Sack of Leftist Feces in the Senate Award”!

Because they already have jobs.

Hes certainly qualified, since there arent any qualifications. How true. In most professions you start at entry level and work your way up. In politics nothing matters but how you'll vote.

Wow! What a choice; Chissy “The Sissy” Matthews or Arlen “The Rino” Specter.
Wish I was a registered voter in PA. /s/

"I want to be a senator."
Full sentence should read: "I want to be Senator so I can sit next to my main squeeze Barack and feel that tingle up my leg every day."
