It is greatly amusing to watch Her Higness of Entitlement stand and defend religious white zealots and we dang gun nuts. Yep we are all clinging to these cherished values due to our disgust with the federal gobermint for failing to gib us sumtin.

[snip] Then political reality set in and Obama’s campaign office in Sacramento “pruned” the Copenhavers from the list of running delegates. Margaret said she and her husband were given no explanation, though she has her theories. “We believe they’ve already picked delegates they want to win,” she told the Ledger Dispatch Thursday. “They don’t know Ray or I. We live in a rural county. We’re strangers to them.” [end]

"DEMOCRAT grandees Jimmy Carter and Al Gore are being lined-up to deliver the coup de grâce to Hillary Clinton and end her campaign to become president. Former president Carter and former vice-president Gore have already held high-level discussions about delivering the message that she must stand down for the good of the Democrats. "

From everything I've heard about Hillary she'll tell Jimmah to go engage Mr. Peanut in an activity difficult for a legume and tell Gore that nobody who had 8 years as a vice president and who couldn't beat someone who pronounced nuclear as nu-cue-ler is gonna tell her she has to step down for the good of the party because she IS the party!

Your comment:

How sad that Jimmy Carter is the elder spoksman for the democratic party.

I have to really disagree with you on that point ...

Jimmy Carter is such a naive political LOSER that the more visible and vocal he becomes, the more obvious to even numb-headed "moderates" that the Democrats are once again trying to take the country over the proverbial cliff with a wacko-left extreme McGovern-like socialist/fascist candidate.

Let's help trot out and parade Hanoi-Jane and other has-been nut-jobs of the left and give them all of the air-time that we can!!!

Somehow we have to figure out how to rescue our country by upholding the constitution that helped the country become great in the first place ...

Falling poll numbers and a string of high-profile blunders have convinced party elders that she must now bow out of the primary race.

I don't know, ole Hussein sure has had a lot of huge blunders of late too. Although the MSM always refer to his horrendous blunders as mere gaffs.

I was speaking of the Democratic primary in the summer of 1980.

Kennedy ran and tore into Carter hard that campaign for the Dem. nomination because Carter had been such a bad President.

Regards.

If the superdelegates have to follow the national vote, then what is the point of having them?

Exactly. Drives me nuts that the media reports on this as if Hillary's planning some sort of underhanded coup to negate the will of the people. (She's saving that for when she becomes prez/dictator.) But the superdelegate system put into place to ensure that the Democrat masses don't pick another sure-loser like McGovern can only work if the party leaders themselves haven't completely lost their minds too. Which they have.

Article is pure 100% BS. Clinton would never listen to a word that Gore says, and is Carter going to announce his call for her to step aside during his presser with the terrorist from Hamas? I don’t think so. Actually, Obama’s foot-in mouth elitist comments, and the way that Hilalry has pounced on it, means that she’s now in it all the way to the convention...and will push hard to get the superdelegates to change their minds. I think she will pull it off...
