All the boys and girls all had long sleeves. That has to be uncomfortable in the Texas sun.
Not as uncomfortable as a sunburn from working outside all day. Just saying. I've done both, I'll take the long sleeves over the burn any day.
I attended a child-abuse lecture once. He speaker alerted us to the fact that abusive parents have their children wear long sleeves year round to hide the bruises.
