SAN ANGELO, Texas — Teenage girls, often younger than 16, were required to have sex in the soaring white temple after they were married in sect-recognized unions at a polygamist compound in West Texas, according to court documents unsealed Wednesday.
The temple "contains an area where there is a bed where males over the age of 17 engage in sexual activity with female children under the age of 17," said an affidavit quoting a confidential informant who left the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Individual stories of young brides is not the same as a 9,000 member isolated cult formed largely for polygamy and assigning underage girls to old men.
I don’t know what the “old way” means but polygamy was not the old way, and 22 was the average age for marriage, for females throughout the 1800s and before.
But really nothing explains why so many people are trying to poke holes in the outrage that people feel about the abuse of these male and female children and their mothers.
This would have never happened if there weren’t failure of the mothers, or grandmothers, to protect their children. IMHO, adults of both sexes are responsible.

It won't be long before it comes out that the bed in the temple was there so that other elders could watch as these young girls were forced to consummate their marriages to these old men.

The grandmothers of today’s statutory rape victims bear blame...they are in their forties now, but they allowed their daughters to be ‘bred’ as soon as they were mensing (13 or 14) so the mothers of today’s 13 year olds victims (and grandmothers to the babies these young teens have born) are in their late twenties to early thirties and this, for them, is the only life they have known. Read upthread about the ‘fear’ of standing near a black person; what other mind controlling garbage were these women fed over the course of their lifetimes? Can any of them get a job and support themselves? Can they even drive a car? This is systematic, generational brainwashing under the guise of ‘religion’ for the sexual gratification of a group of deviants who apparently rigged quite a Ponzi scheme to rip off welfare and Social Security and never have to actually ‘work’ for a living. Just keep getting subsequent generations of young girls pregnant, and the state will send a check (or welfare card) each month.
I grew up with the Amish and the Mennonites. Outside of some traditional ways vice easy modern ways They are pretty easy folks to understand.
