The temperature of the planet is dropping like a stone...(They should have checked with Al first)
Spectator ^ | 4/9/08 | Melanie Phillips

All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASAGISS, UAH, RSS) have released updated data. All show that over the past year, global temperatures have dropped precipitously. A compiled list of all the sources can be seen...The total amount of cooling ranges from 0.65C up to 0.75C -- a value large enough to wipe out most of the warming recorded over the past 100 years.

But try to explain that to Algore’s fleet of hard of thinking minions. You would have more success talking to your socks

The global warming wackos are about to get hit in the head with a two by four made of ice. Solar cycle 24 is definitely acting strange. Solar cycle 23 is stretching out and out and out and may wind up being the longest cycle in the past 200 years. Roy Spencer has shown that the vast majority of climate models have made a huge error by making a negative feedback loop in the tropics a positive feedback loop.

The coming global cooling is already affecting growing seasons and impacting grain supplies, sending prices skyrocketing. With 2.5 billion more people than the last time things were a bit cool (1970’s), we may be in for mass starvation in some places around the globe.

I guess it’s just the hot air from Al we’re all feeling.

I believe that is the consensus.

The new phrase is climate change.

Any change in the weather at all (sun, temperature, rain, snow, wind...) is clearly your fault since you drive your SUV. If it happens it is because of greenhouse gases, the direction of change in temperature is irrelevant.

“a value large enough to wipe out most of the warming recorded over the past 100 years.”

God has an awesome since of humor.

Someone really needs to organize a counter movement to completely debunk this lying, idiotic scam artist. I for one am sick and tired of listening to his lies and junk science.

Since Global Warming can be stopped by raising taxes, Global Cooling can only be stopped by lowering taxes.

In Minneapolis we are scheduled to get a half foot of global warming to shovel on Friday.

The left will blame this on a Karl Rove and Dick Cheney. It's a conspiracy, I tell ya!

As we speak, Denver is bracing for another 4 to 8 inches tonight. [sigh] Where is this global warming when you need it?

This is the last weekend of a banner ski year in Missoula, MT. There’s plenty of snow to keep going a few more weeks but most areas are closing this weekend if they haven’t already. People are just skied out. I know I am.

My oldest daughter works at Park City, UT. They close this weekend, but she called yesterday - they had 20 inches of fresh powder, and only 50 people showed up.

Yeah “Climate change” –“yeah, that’s the ticket”

Methinks the next credit crunch is going to occur in something called “carbon credits”.

Can't do it, sorry. I'd have to give up my day job, my night job and let the house go to the dogs. Come to think of it, the dogs pretty much rule as it is. Bottom line is most of us really do have to earn a living. Someone should, however, put together a bunch of children's stories. You can call them “Gore's Fairytales”. I think it would sell like hotcakes. Base it on real science, real statistics, real financial principals. They might last into the 22nd Century, unless our Messiah returns before, may it please God.

well they can eat carbon credits and what’s left of the organically grown vegtables and green coffee.

Us in America will be fat and happy as usual, thankfully.

Half a foot? I knew we were supposed to get some snow, but half a f-ing foot? I don’t know whether to move to Florida or kill myself.
