Local and state officials entered the temple of a secretive polygamist sect late Saturday, said lawmen blockading the road to the YFZ Ranch near Eldorado.
The action comes hours after local prosecutors said officials were preparing for the worst because a group of FLDS members were resisting efforts to search the structure.
The Texas Department of Public Safety trooper and Schleicher County sheriff’s deputy confirmed that officials have entered the temple but said they had no word on whether anything occurred in the effort.
The incursion into the temple caps the three-day saga of the state’s Child Protective Services agency removing at least 183 women and children from the YFZ Ranch since Friday afternoon. Eighteen girls have been placed in state custody since a 16-year-old told authorities she was married to a 50-year-old man and had given birth to his child.
Saturday evening, ambulances were brought in, said Allison Palmer, who as first assistant 51st District attorney, would prosecute any felony crimes uncovered as part of the investigation inside the compound.
“In preparing for entry to the temple, law enforcement is preparing for the worst,” Palmer said Saturday evening. They want to have “medical personnel on hand in case this were to go in a way that no one wants.”
Apparently as a result of action Saturday night at the ranch, about 10:15 p.m. Saturday, a Schleicher County school bus unloaded another group of at least a dozen more women and children from the compound.
Although members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or FLDS, have provided varying degrees of cooperation to the sheriff’s deputies and Texas Rangers searching the compound, all cooperation stopped once authorities tried to search the gleaming white temple that towers over the West Texas scrub, Palmer said.
“There may be those who would oppose (entry) by placing themselves between law enforcement and the place of worship,” Palmer said Saturday afternoon. “If an agreement cannot be reached … law enforcement will have to — as gently and peaceably as possible — make entry into that place.”
Sect members consider the temple, dedicated by then-leader of the sect Warren Jeffs in January 2005 and finished many months later, off-limits to those who are not FLDS members, said Palmer, who prosecutes felony cases in Schleicher County.
Palmer said she didn’t know the size or makeup of the group inside the temple.
The earlier refusal to provide access was even more disconcerting because CPS investigators have yet to identify the 16-year-old girl or her roughly 8-month-old baby among the dozens removed from the compound, Palmer said.
“Anytime someone says, ‘Don’t look here,’” she said, “it makes you concerned that’s exactly where you need to look.”
The girl told authorities in two separate phone calls a day apart that she was married to a 50-year-old man, Dale Barlow, who had fathered her child, Palmer said.
The joint raid included the Texas Rangers, CPS, Schleicher County and Tom Green County sheriff’s deputies and game wardens from the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife.
Although CPS and Department of Public Safety officials have described the compound’s residents as cooperative, Palmer disagreed.
“Things have been a little tense, a little volatile,” she said.
Authorities removed 52 children Friday afternoon and 131 women and children overnight Friday. About 40 of the children are boys, said CPS spokeswoman Marleigh Meisner.
No further children have been taken into state custody since Friday, when 18 girls were judged to have been abused or be at imminent risk for abuse. CPS has found foster homes for the girls, Meisner said, and will place them after concluding its investigation.
Meisner declined to comment on the fate of the 119 other children and said authorities were still searching the ranch for others Saturday evening.
“They’re in the process of looking,” she said. “They’re literally about halfway through.”

Forgive me that I have not completed reading all the composition you posted.
I realize that you took a lot of time to do it, but I can only deal with small portions at a time, and not to the massive post, which is, in many parts not you own thoughts but things you have got from other people’s opinions.
To believe that the Holy Spirit could not decide what He inspired for hundreds of years after the NT Church was established and reading inspired books, and that the Holy Spirit limited those inspired books to “66” hundreds of years after the NT Church was established, by working through fallible men in one part of the world, in one time of the Church age but which the Holy Spirit made binding on all men of the Church [which Church is headquartered only in heaven, where the Head sits] in all the world and all the age of the Church on earth, is ludicrous.
History proves the opposite, and first of all, they did not decide 66 books were Canon in 300 AD; and second, the entire world of Christian Believers did not follow them. But in other places where the Church existed in men, and in other times through the Church age, what some men in that place several hundred years after the Church was established, was not believed nor followed by others, who established their own lists of ‘accepted canon”. I’m speaking only of Christian Churches, not gnostic sects.

There’s more, of course, like the Geneva Protestants’ first English Bible, with 80 books in it, the same as the Roman Catholic Church, and Martin Luther’s disagreement on what is “Canon”, himself, is enlightening.

It is the Holy Spirit who teaches us, not persons who stand between us and God, and His Truth does not contradict itself in any place. Enoch is a true prophet and His message is the witness of the Son of Man in heaven who was to come [and the only place where the Son of Man was seen in heaven, with God, and who was God, is in the book of Enoch, and John opens His Witness of Christ with that information got from Enoch, and Jesus remarks on His being in heaven as the Son of Man, in Jhn 6:62 “[What] and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before”?].
The authority of the blinded Jews will remain removed from the nation, too, until they call out to Him; “Blessed is He who comes in the name of YHWH”, -and then they will “see”.
Why challenge me to post every reference and quote Jesus made from the book of Enoch, instead of proving it for yourself? -that is, if you are familiar enough with the actual writings of The OT and NT in themselves, to recognize them when Enoch first gives them. I would have to write pages and pages of correlating passages and statements, but it is there for you to discover for yourself, as I have.
Enoch, along with all the OT and NT -even with the chronicles found in the Book of Jasher- refutes all false doctrines of all who claim another Jesus or another way, or a change of God’s plans or mind, from the beginning, or who claim any opposing doctrine to the Gospel of Christ as found in the NT, and found first in Enoch, hidden, but to come, and taught in the Oracles committed only to the namesake people of the New Man name, to keep and rehearse until all is fulfilled.
Enoch 1 is a collection of books Enoch wrote [but not all of them, as so many are lost because he said he wrote 365 books -and Noah’s own testimony in the fragment from his hand, in the Enoch 1 book, is that he hated writing!]. In the Qumram caves another fragment of Enoch’s writings were found, which is called the book of Giants. But the Ethiopian Coptic Church kept what the early Church had, from Enoch, in their canon all down through the NT Church age.
That the book of Enoch existed in the form the Ethiopian Christians kept it in, before NT times, was verified by the findings of many parts of many copies of Enoch 1, in the Qumram caves, which copies were dated to at least 300 years before Jesus Christ, and proved that indeed Jesus quoted from that writing, as His womb brothers James and Jude did do, also, -and as Peter, John, the author of Hebrews, and Paul also did.
That Paul had and read both the book of Jasher and Enoch are evident to anyone familiar with Paul’s letters and with those books, for he is a mass user of the information in both those books. He did not plagarize, as all his readers should have been well aware of the source from where he spoke the truths he used, to prove Jesus Christ and His doctrine, from, without giving chapter and verse [which were non-existent means of references in those days].
In Luke 24:27, from the Greek, one learns that “beginning from/apo Moses and from/apo all/pas the prophets Jesus expounded to them in all the Scriptures/Writings about Himself.
Enoch is a prophet. Enoch wrote about Jesus Christ those things which Jesus quoted, as recorded, through the four Gospels, about Himself.
About the prophets speaking of the restitution of all things by the Son of Man from the beginning of the world, Peter made this comment;
Act 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
“since the world began” there have been holy prophets who have spoken of Jesus Christ. Enoch is one of them.
Jude said ENoch was a prophet, and Jude quotes the prophet Enoch:
Jude 14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
Enoch also saw the things in heaven, in the same scenes, before the Lamb of God was come in flesh and risen, which John was also given to see in heaven, after the Lamb of God was come in flesh, and risen. Both of them see the same scenes in heaven, one pre-incarnation; one post-incarnation -and post resurrection and ascension.

You can take me off of your ping list too. I used to read your pages, and pages (and pages) of strange twists, self justifications, and non sequiturs. There is no need any longer, and quite frankly, you have lost so much credibility here that I doubt anyone really reads what you post any longer.
