Local and state officials entered the temple of a secretive polygamist sect late Saturday, said lawmen blockading the road to the YFZ Ranch near Eldorado.
The action comes hours after local prosecutors said officials were preparing for the worst because a group of FLDS members were resisting efforts to search the structure.
The Texas Department of Public Safety trooper and Schleicher County sheriffs deputy confirmed that officials have entered the temple but said they had no word on whether anything occurred in the effort.
The incursion into the temple caps the three-day saga of the states Child Protective Services agency removing at least 183 women and children from the YFZ Ranch since Friday afternoon. Eighteen girls have been placed in state custody since a 16-year-old told authorities she was married to a 50-year-old man and had given birth to his child.
Saturday evening, ambulances were brought in, said Allison Palmer, who as first assistant 51st District attorney, would prosecute any felony crimes uncovered as part of the investigation inside the compound.
In preparing for entry to the temple, law enforcement is preparing for the worst, Palmer said Saturday evening. They want to have medical personnel on hand in case this were to go in a way that no one wants.
Apparently as a result of action Saturday night at the ranch, about 10:15 p.m. Saturday, a Schleicher County school bus unloaded another group of at least a dozen more women and children from the compound.
Although members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or FLDS, have provided varying degrees of cooperation to the sheriffs deputies and Texas Rangers searching the compound, all cooperation stopped once authorities tried to search the gleaming white temple that towers over the West Texas scrub, Palmer said.
There may be those who would oppose (entry) by placing themselves between law enforcement and the place of worship, Palmer said Saturday afternoon. If an agreement cannot be reached law enforcement will have to as gently and peaceably as possible make entry into that place.
Sect members consider the temple, dedicated by then-leader of the sect Warren Jeffs in January 2005 and finished many months later, off-limits to those who are not FLDS members, said Palmer, who prosecutes felony cases in Schleicher County.
Palmer said she didnt know the size or makeup of the group inside the temple.
The earlier refusal to provide access was even more disconcerting because CPS investigators have yet to identify the 16-year-old girl or her roughly 8-month-old baby among the dozens removed from the compound, Palmer said.
Anytime someone says, Dont look here, she said, it makes you concerned thats exactly where you need to look.
The girl told authorities in two separate phone calls a day apart that she was married to a 50-year-old man, Dale Barlow, who had fathered her child, Palmer said.
The joint raid included the Texas Rangers, CPS, Schleicher County and Tom Green County sheriffs deputies and game wardens from the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife.
Although CPS and Department of Public Safety officials have described the compounds residents as cooperative, Palmer disagreed.
Things have been a little tense, a little volatile, she said.
Authorities removed 52 children Friday afternoon and 131 women and children overnight Friday. About 40 of the children are boys, said CPS spokeswoman Marleigh Meisner.
No further children have been taken into state custody since Friday, when 18 girls were judged to have been abused or be at imminent risk for abuse. CPS has found foster homes for the girls, Meisner said, and will place them after concluding its investigation.
Meisner declined to comment on the fate of the 119 other children and said authorities were still searching the ranch for others Saturday evening.
Theyre in the process of looking, she said. Theyre literally about halfway through.
The best equivalency I can place them on is to compare them to Pilgrims Progress, a work that inspires, allegorically presents the gospel, but is not inspired as the gospels.
For example, if we believe that the Nephilim arose from divine mated (physically) with human, why not Jesus? (As Mormons blasphemously claim.)
As they would say in England - spot on!
LOL
Like the Mormons who come to my door and WON'T take NO! for an answer?

Like your tagline.
Only those who are brainwashed and think polygamy is OK because it’s part of someone’s religion.
I have dealt with different groups who claim to believe the Bible, for years, but who twist Scripture to suit themselves. Enoch 1 refutes all twisted Scripture and the doctrines of all who claim to be Christian, but who have a man-made religion which is not founded on the Word of God, Enoch makes the doctrines of the Word clear and explains the points of:
the Person and work of Jesus Christ;
everlasting lake of fire, who it was made for and why, and who gets a part in it and why, and how to escape it;
hell beneath earth and who went there and what conditions they are held in, there, and how long they would/will remain there;
the doctrines of demons, who and what they are, why they roam earth, when they will be removed and how and by whom and where they will be removed to;
The preappointed days, seasons, for all things, and the number of days appointed for this present creation, before the regeneration of all things, and what happens before that;
the reason for the cleansing of the earth by the flood, of every living soul but those on the ark;
the great tribulation which is to come, and the events that will occur during it’s time, and that it is the time of the second consumation of sin on earth, before the reign of peace;
the regeneration of the heavens and the earth;
the duties of the angels; their orders, the chief one’s names;
who the twelve crowned elders in Rev are, who are not human beings, but who are watchers, holy ones who did not fall and who intercede for men, in order that Zion, the City of God above, which is inhabited by elect angels [those who did not fall] and spirits of just men made perfect who were born again in Spirit when Jesus atoned for all Adam, descended, and rose with them, taking them to the City of God above, where they dwell since then, and where all the righteous born again in Christ and innocent babies and children who die before the age of accountability join them, to wait for the resurrection of the bodies in regenerated form, which they and we who are born again receive at the same time [which is called the ingathering of Pentecost, the first harvest of earth’s adopted sons of God in the New Man’s name].
That city of God, which is Zion of the Spiritual realm,is where the righteous dwell, and where Enoch saw, far off, the Watchers [-gaurdian angels] interceding for men, and where Enoch longed to go to, and was granted the desire, and so, he was transformed and was taken on ahead to that city of God in the heavenlies over this earth, and “was not”.
About canon: that is not a valid argument, as accepted canon has been different for different Christian groups in different parts of the world in different times, since the NT Chuch was formed; and the Holy Spirit did not change His mind and decide, about three hundred years after Jesus quoted Enoch, and his womb brothers quoted Enoch, and John, Paul, and the author of Hebrews quoted Enoch, that Enoch was not inspired after all.
The Ethiopian Coptic Church has kept Enoch in it’s “canon” from the beginning, so it was preserved for the Church, there, and in these last days has been translated into English [for the last two hundred years].
since Much in the NT is right out of Enoch, and no where else, then Enoch is validated by the LORD and NT authors and early Church writings of Christian believers, and is useful for doctrine.

“Whose Canon? Which Bible?
Biblical scrolls
Protestants tend to think there is only one Bible—ours.
Actually different religious groups of the Judeo-Christian tradition have different biblical canons.”

Dont they come right after the Book of Hezekiah ???
Another "one of those things."
The BoE recounts that he was anointed with the "Oil of Gladness" and transformed into the likeness of an Archangel.
Well, okay.
Metatron.
Because Jesus is not from a “mating” by sexual union. He is the Living Spirit who is come incarnate in a body prepared for His wearing by the Holy Spirit, in the womb of a virgin, in the same manner the first man’s body was formed from the elements in the earth.
Adam is created of the earth, and is “from beneath”, earthy.
Adam is from the word adamah, earth, and dam, blood, in Hebrew. Adam is a single created spirit/kind/being, who was made a living soul which was given a body to wear which was prepared from the elements of this creation.
The Creator made Adam one kind, male and female persons in the kind, and commanded Adam to multiply the kind and fill the earth. The purpose was to fill the earth with human sons of God for the Glory to indwell, as His temple, house. Adam ate the defiling fruit and lost the glory and sold the kingdom into sin and corruption, and all his seed were born dead, not living. Malachi 2:15;Genesis 5:2, and Adam is no longer a son of God [Luke 3:38].
The Kinsman who is come in human flesh is not “Adam [we are all Adam, as a concordance will prove if you check out the word in the Hebrew], as to our kind, though individual persons in the kind. The Kinsman is YHWH in the second Person, come in a brand new creation human being body, as the only created brother to Adam and the only living human being Son of God.
He has the legal right to David’s throne by his human birth, to Adam’s lost kingdom by His ransom, and is our mediator with the Father, as our own “Everlasting Father” “Mighty God”, second Man/’Isyh, who is ascended to the heavenlies -which Adam got shut out of, as a son of God, human kind, at the fall- and He represents us before the Glory of the unseen Father, forever.
He is called Kinsman which word is also translated Redeemer, and if He were not in a second Man body of flesh He would have no power to redeem Adam and would not have been given the life to lay down, with which He could redeem Adam by, and take up again.
No one in Adam could approach the created Holies of the created heavenlies, where the Glory dwells, since the fall, because Adam is irrevocably defiled [Haggai 2 teaches about why no person in Adam could approach]. The New Man however, paid our ransom, ascended, and received the Glory which Adam lost -and more glory, as He is YHWH the Word, Himself.
The Law and the Prophets teach about this, and the High Priest served in the office of Christ [by the anointing of the oil] who was to come; and once, yearly, he donned the garments which typed and shadowed the New Man who was to come, and entered into the Holy of Holies below, which Moses patterned after the heavenly one, to rehearse the day of Atonement which was to come, and is come, and the Day is fulfilled and whosoever will may be cleansed in soul by the blood which was accepted, and given the second birth of Spirit and then, in the resurrection, the second birth of body.
To be born again is to be adopted into the Name of the Second Man, and that is available for “whosoever will” repent and believe in the Name of the New Man, who is the One and Only Redeemer, YHWH the Word, from heaven.
He is dual natured: God, the LORD from heaven, and He is the second Man, the Son of God of the human kind. But He is not born of a god mating with a human, but is born of the woman who had her womb used for the creation of the New Man’s body.
The book of Hebrews tells what Enoch said, from Enoch’s own writings.
Hbr 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Enoch seems, for all intents and purposes, to fulfill the biblical law of the firstborn seed of the Kinsman. The Kinsman who has the right, the will, and the power, to redeem, who marries the barren widow and redeems her dead husband’s property; and the firstborn son is raised in the name of the dead, so that the inheritance is not lost.
Israel is the name of the New, second Man [Isaiah 49; Isaiah 59;], which is the name the Father calls Him [we call Him “Salvation” which is what “Jesus/Hoshea” means, but the Father calls Him “Israel”, as the second Man; Genesis 5:2 names the first, Isaiah 49 names the second] who is, as I said, the Living Spirit come in flesh to redeem the lost in Adam seed and to ransom the inheritance which Adam sold.
He also is called the husband of the born again Believers, by their being joined to His One Living Spirit by the adoption.
There is no sexual union of the New Man/’Isyh with the ‘one’ “bride/wife/’ishyah/Church/redeemed remnant of Israel”, but by His adoption they become what YHWH sought when He made Adam; “sons for His Glory to indwell” Malachi 2:15, and which Adam fell from being.
That cat looks more intelligent than the false prophet Joseph Smith...
Purrfectly reasonable assumption...

I have 66 books, that compose what is commonly called the bible that more than adequately addresses scripture twisters with no need to rely upon pseudographic works for support.
First off, you are mistaken about Jesus' quoting enoch. Those sections are part of the Similitudes - written late first century, placing it after Jesus' ministry on earth. Therefore, Jesus could not have been referencing something that was not written at the time. Along those same lines, multiple authors wrote this document over the course of of a few centuries, it is too far removed to represent an extant document from Enoch's hand. Finally, 1 Enoch was not put together (composed of 5-6 separate booklets) until much later.
Second, canonicity is an important issue. While Enoch was popular, it was not held as scripture by the Jews, as evidenced at Jama. Jesus Himself never recognized Enoch as part of the canon of Scripture, but made it clear He accepted the traditional Hebrew canon as scripture. Regarding Jude, the final acceptance of his epistle was hindered because he cited a portion of Enoch (probably 1 Enoch 1:9). One must not fall into the fallacy of claiming inspiration for an entire work just because there is an oblique reference to it. Jude does not cite his sources by name, much less credit them with scriptural status and was very limited in his use. This is the same as Paul's citation of Greek philosophers - those works are not scripture either. Use by others apostles are quite limited too, to make specific points, and do not accord scriptural status either. Early church fathers cited Enoch, but it never passed the standards of having spiritual authority.
The Holy Spirit guided the development of the canon as promised by Christ. But man is fickle too and the Coptic maintenance of Enoch as part of ITS scripture does not equate it the same relevance and standing throughout the rest of Christianity. I have faith in the Spirit's guidance of the early church in identifying those books that were scripture. Enoch has too many strikes against it and I believe that the Holy Spirit did not change His mind and decide about Enoch because it wasn't even on His list to begin with and that it was man that kept trying to bring it in. What made it popular was its moral/exhortations nature of some of the material. This is equivalent, as pointed out in another post, to Pilgrim's Progress contains moral exhortations, but does not attain scriptural status. Remember, the canon was closely scrutinized because of the numerous other false writings coming out, so the development of the canon was essential. FF Bruce explains this process very well.
Second, it is a logical fallacy to argue that because an inspired biblical author such as Jude reports material from Jewish oral tradition or other extra-biblical sources, that those sources in their entirety must be considered accurate and theologically valid. And it should be noted that Jude does not cite his sources by name, much less credit them with scriptural status.
Finally, I could go through, line by line some of what you think is 'explained', and probably find some serious conflicts with orthodox Christian doctrines and the Bible. IIRC when I did read portions of it in the past, there were some glaring issues. There is no need for a 1 Enoch, the bible is more than adequate. The following better explains the details

Or FF Bruce "The Canon of Scripture"
Bwahahahaha, you have a great sense of humor! ... Mewman. I’ll have to tell my two old cats that one.
There was no Hebrew “canon” of Scripture when Jesus walked the earth in His flesh. Not until after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ did the Jews compile a list of “canon”; and as the book of Enoch is about Jesus Christ, about His Person [God the Word, the Head of Days] and His work [creation, sustaining creation, redemption and regeneration of creation], then of course they left it off.
The list of 66 books you have is a rather late list, which happened only in the past few hundred years, so I assume you believe that the Holy Spirit changed His mind? -rather, I think that you just never looked into the subject for yourself, and believed what you were told and never wondered where all the missing pieces were which the Bible leaves out, about what the lake of fire is, where it is, what hell beneath earth is, why it is, who is there, why they are there, what about the Tinity? what about the body, spirit, and soul of Adamkind? where is the doctrine of Christ as the Son of Man, from eternity, clearly laid out in the OT? Where is the Throne of Glory? What are Cherubim? Who are the archangels? what are their duties?
Why do angels war in the heavenlies? Who are the unseen rulers of darkness in the heavenlies? Why do they have rule? Where do the demons come from? what and where and when and why?
Where is the doctrine of the book of Life from, which is mentioned in Moses and Psalms and NT [by Paul], and in Revelation? -All these and much more are found in Enoch 1, and they halp me immensely, in understanding the OT and NT and give me much ammunition to share the Gospel with deceived sect members or apologists, whom I may meet here and there.
And the one that should make you ask questions: where is the Scripture of Truth written as mentioned in Daniel 10:21, from which the angel showed Daniel all the things that were to transpire concerning his people, from then to the end of days, in Daniel 11 and 12? Where is it” How can one know what the angel referred to? -you cannot without reading Enoch 1, which Daniel was familiar with, himself.
The first Geneva Bible included the books called the apochrypha, and the Puritans brought that version to the continent. When did you get your shortened list, who decided it for you? in what year?
FYI: I believe that Jesus Christ is the last word God has spoken to man, and that the Revelation of His coming which He gave John is the last book “inspired”, by the Spirit of God, though histories are valuable and not to be discarded
I do not believe that the book of Jasher is “inspired”, but it is history which is true, the same as Joshua, Judges, Ruth, Samuel,Kings, Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther are true history, but are not “inspired”.
I do not believe that the Song of Solomon is inspired -and as Martyn Luther had his opinions about what is inspired, I can too, and I believe that it has no business in the Word of God, as it is the soft porn ramblings of a sin sick reprobate who had so many wives that he could never service them all in 3 years or more. The Holy Spirit is not into belly buttons and breasts and teeth and necks, as Solomon so mused on those of the Shulamite woman -and please don’t try to tell me that Solomon is a type of Christ! -Not! read 1 Kings 11 about Solomon’s state of reprobation, and then tell me how the Holy Spirit would call anything inspired which broke the Torah, like the writings of Solomon in his relationship with another woman, when he was sin laden with hundreds of women already? “A king must not multiply wives unto Himself” says Moses -or horses, for that matter, which Solomon did do, too.
All that is called inspired by many are not accepted by others as inspired. Please click the link http://gbgm-umc.org/UMW/BIBLE/canon2.stm about that subject and you will see that it just is not so. Canon is an artificial man-made list, made by different men in different times and places and never accepted by all men in all places and all times.
The Jews do not call the histories “the Word of God”, though they are included in the writings.
Jesus quoted Enoch many times, particularly the doctrines from Enoch 1 about about Himself, and Jude and James, John, Peter, and Paul also did, just as freely and loosely as they all quoted the OT.
There was no list of “Canon” in the early NT Church, and Barnabas quoted Enoch as Scripture, as Tertullien and others did.
Jesus validated Enoch many times in quoting things from there which are not OT, and to know so one needs to be familiar with both, now that Enoch has come to light in the western world, since it’s translation into English 200 years ago, and it’s being so east to access and prove these things by, there is no excuse to cling false stories which are totally refuted by that writing.
PS: Enoch was most certainly hotly debated by those fallible men who wanted to play Holy Spirit over men’s minds, over 300 years after the NT Church was well established and it’s founding Apostles long dead.
Augustine was the one responsible for the banning of Enoch in the west, but as I said, the Ethiopian Coptic Church never banned it, and kept it as part of their list of accepted “Canon”
All the stuff you wrote was just repeated cliches from men who are ignorant of the history of Enoch and of the quotes form Enoch -which are direct and indirect- made by Jesus and the authors of the NT; over 128 quotes in the NT are from Enoch, and not from the OT.
Barnabas, one of the seventy and companion Apostle to the Gentiles with Paul, certainly called it Scripture, in his epistle, as many others of that age did.
It is in Enoch that we are told that the Son of Man who was to be revealed, who was hidden in God from the beginning, who was with God and who was God, who was the Word -even the Oath of God- had been appointed by the Father to judge all creation, and to Him, as the Son of Man, every creature would bow, of fallen angels and nephillim and man, and confess Him as God of Gods and King of Kings.
Paul, a student of Enoch, tells us the same, which He read in Enoch, and which Isaiah only spoke of as having been said by YHWH already, without naming Jesus Christ as YHWH who had spoken and said that, “to Him every knee would bow”.
The black cat in the center of the bed is the only male - his name is Joe. He is much older than the female cats around him (and he likes the females a lot, if you know what I mean). You really have to watch him. He will eat all the other cat's food when you are not looking.
