Yoffie lowered the boom on Hagee and urged Jews to no longer attend Hagee's series of "Nights for Israel

He's such a nincompoop, he should realize that this will result in MORE support of Hagee.

A couple of years ago one of Yoffie's minions proclaimed a fatwa on Chabad, and ordered Reform Jews to boycott Chabad activities because they were "anti-Reform." This resulted in a huge increase of donations to Chabad from members of Reform congregations.

American evangelicals are the best friends Israel has in the entire world. If Israelis like Yoffee don't want American Christians in Israel they should also demand that the US not stand with Israel in the UN or when she is attacked by her Arab neighbors.

Actually, I don't believe Yoffee's hostility to US evangelicals represents the majority opinion among Israelis in general.

I can't see why any Jewish community, Orthodox or non-Orthodox, should like either 'Rat. What compels them to remain identified with that party, other than an addiction?

Let's not forget that HRC has antisemitic and anti-Israeli baggage herself, including (1) her penchant for antisemitic remarks - as reported by several credible individuals, (2) her infamous kiss of Suha Arafat immediately after the latter's anti-Israel rant, and (3) the prominent position of Huma Abedin, a young Moslem woman from an Islamofascist family background, as a close friend and politcal advisor.

Actually, that ignorance used to exist. Now, as we learn more.. we like less what we see. Sometimes, Ignorance is bliss. Deadly, but bliss. Islam has not done well in the spotlight of Western Values and it basically cannot because man believers see it as even more opposed to those values than even Communism, and thats a stretch.

Oops, my mistake. I have to learn not to skim over the article and then start typing with foot in mouth.

Nevertheless I still don't think that most Israelis feel hostile toward American evangelicals, but if they do they must not show it. The evangelicals I know who have gone on holy land tours have never had anything but good to say about the Israeli people who they met.
