No! McCain has dissed conservatives and the Republican party. By doing so, he has dissed FReeRepublic and many, if not most, of our members hold him in contempt.

I haven’t followed this entire thread but wanted to thank you for posting about the POW/MIAs that were sold out/left behind, etc. It’s one of the reasons I’ll have a difficult time voting for McCain. I have no idea how I’ll vote in November and the discussions here about McCain have been informative. Pro and Con. So, thanks for keeping the POWs/MIAs alive here. I will never forget them.

I’m a big McCain-hater, but, without knowing the relative merits of their arguments, I thought he handled the situation well.

You and I had this discussion a while back and I just wanted to say that I appreciate your posts. I’m not a McCain supporter, no idea what I’m going to do come November. I haven’t read this entire thread either. However, you provided some good info and arguments for supporting him here and in a prior thread. And others have provided info for not supporting him. And, I have my own info.

After the rude, crude, vile and inflamatory things that have been said on FR and this thread in particular, it is hypocritical and absurd! Why not provide a list of the "chosen" so the rest of us will know who has rights and who does not?

It’s a bad sign that he does not seem to want to keep his promises, so far. It’s difficult for me to vote for someone I can’t trust.
