And if Rush gets officially blamed for Clintons’ nomination what do you suppose that will do to her support among the activists and blacks? She won’t even come close in November.
This is from "talkers" and radio industry rating company (non biased). His rating slipped from 14.5 million in 2003 to 13.5 in 2006. Talkers said much if this was due to Iraq war, Bush's large gov't spending etc. which many Republicans are against. Notice Rush never mentions the 20 million audience as he did regularly in the past? It also mentioned in the article casual listeners to Rush dropped from 20% to 11%.
Rush Limbaugh remains the most listened-to talk show host in America, according to a semi-annual estimate in the trade magazine Talkers, with at least 13.5 million people tuning him in at some point during the average week.
Sean Hannity is a close second with at least 12.5 million. Then there's a drop to Michael Savage and Dr. Laura Schlessinger, who Talkers says each have at least 8 million listeners a week.

THAT said. . .think 'Operation Chaos' a bad idea as it simply reflects the indifference to fair and due process that Liberals have always ignored and celebrated. Don't want us adapting to cheap Lib MO's; and am disappointed Rush is going there.
There is, however, one Lib-Leftist tactic, that we do need to copy.Save for their best tactic, that is. We need more Repubs making a 'mantra of truth' as does the Left, daily...chant their a 'mantra of lies'.
Rush does get to the truth of the matter; but he cannot do it alone. Perhaps this is all making him 'tip over the top'right now.

Sounds like you are between a rock and a hard place. It does not change the fact that Rush is merely an entertainer, that you have a visceral hatrid for the Clntons (perfectly understandable IMHO) and that like me, you have no Candidate.
McCain was elected by voter fraud in NH and the media period.
Your anger is mis directed and I apologize if I have offended you. I greatly respect any and all Service to this country.

I think you nailed it.
I've been listening to Rush since 1991. And, during that entire time, I've seen him continually underestimate the Clintons. He swore Bill wouldn't get elected, he promised that Dole would beat him in 1996, he predicted that Ken Starr would drive him from office, etc. He also said Hillary would never run for the Senate, that she's never win, that she'd never run for President, etc.
Rush is right on a lot of things, but almost never when it comes to predicting the sucess of the Clintons.
With that being said, I would clarify my earlier comment about not shedding any tears. My point wasn't to wish him ill but to note that he's playing with fire and he won't get any sympathy from me if he gets burned. Think of my comment as more akin to "when it blows up in your face, don't come running to me," than a desire to see him actually damaged by this.
